A/N: The following chapters in this arc happen around the same weekend

Friday night
An army of stars and galaxies fought valiantly against the darkness of space, illuminating the void with their light, a distant, yet beautiful occurrence
But as beautiful as this was, its speed paled in comparison with a particular object. Among the celestial bodies, an anomaly, a mutation
A disruptor of the peace moved at unfathomable speeds. This object, at a first glance, looked like a regular meteor
But meteors did not think
"ᴍ--ᴍᴜꜱᴛ...ᴇꜱ--ꜱꜱᴄ--ᴀᴘ...ᴇ"
"ᴇ--ᴍᴇʀ--ʀɢᴇ...ᴇɴᴄʏ. ɴ...ᴇᴇᴅ ᴇɴᴇ--ᴇ...ʀɢ--ɢʏ"
"ᴘ--ᴘʟᴇ...ᴀ...ꜱ--ꜱᴇ..."
This object, metallic in nature, had entered the solar system without realizing it. Its weak emergency systems picked up on sources of energy and dragged the being along, praying that it would reach its destination before Death herself reached it
Whichever happened first, would remain to be seen
...
The young mutants of Xavier's School joined to celebrate the arrival of the weekend
Some of them, however, couldn't simply go to celebrate in the city amongst the humans
But this is where the tradition started by former student Alison Blaire came in:
Students would make a bonfire and party to their hearts' desire amongst their kind. Sometimes professors would chime in to make sure everything was going on alright but more often than not, it ended in them joining the celebration
And of course, it was an open invitation. It didn't matter the year or the class, everyone could join
Whether they wanted to or not, was something else entirely
Kurt: Are you sure you don't want to go?
The young man waited for his blond friend at the door. The one staring longingly at the window
Douglas: I think I'll pass on this one
Kurt: But it's the first one in all year!
He vanished and reappeared from the ceiling, dropping in front of his startled roommate
Kurt: A golden opportunity to meet new friends!
Douglas raised a brow at his overenthusiastic friend, who even held two thumbs up
Douglas:...fine
Kurt threw his arms in the air in celebration. His fangs sneaking through the smile he sported
Kurt: Fantastic! Let's go!
Doug wasn't even given time to prepare as Kurt got ahold of him and teleported him to the hallway
Kurt: This will be great!
The blue boy went on and on about how cool this social event was, and Doug was sure it could be nice, but...
Well...
Truth to be told, Doug's mind was in the Danger Room results he saw a few hours ago from you
Xavier asked you to write down the results from every student that ran the first level--oh my god, the first level, he still couldn't get over that-- and report it to him
