"LINKS READY!" I heard Max shout across the room, I quickly got into the bed and closed the lid and immediately started to drift off.

Once we were all ready we met up with Trudy and she took us into the forest, me and Norm were hanging out a window looking at the forest creatures, they were absolutely beautiful.
Once we found a clearing in the forest we hopped out of the ship and looked around.
"Shut it down. We're gonna stay a while." I heard Grace shout to Trudy through the glass.
"Stay with the ship. One idiot with a gun is enough." Grace told the human with a gun.
"You the man, Doc." He replied back to her.
We started walking through the forest, looking at all the plants.
We heard something in the trees and looked up. It was Prolemuris.
"They're Prolemuris. They're not aggressive." I told Jake.
"Relax, Marine. You're making me nervous." Grace told him, shoving he gun down.

"So, how will they know we're here?" Norm asked Grace. "I'm sure they're watching us right now." She replied back.
"Keep moving, Norm." I heard Jake tell him.
"Keep up, guy!" Grace yelled at the to men, whilst me and her were walking ahead.

"And here I go." Grace told us whilst inserting a needle into a tree root.
"Oh, wow!" I exclaimed, "It's that fast?" Norm asked her, astonished.
She chuckles before saying "Amazing, isn't it?", I reply with a small "Yeah." Still in shock.
"So, that is signal transduction from this root to the root of the tree next to it." Grace explained, "So we should take a sample."
"Okay. Sample." Norm replies to her.
"You know, it's probably electrical, based on the speed of the reaction." Norm explains to us.
"Norm, you've contaminated the sample with your saliva." Grace said sighing whilst I let out a small chuckle.
"Right." He says embarrassed.

A little later we notice Jake was gone and started looking for him. "That boy probably got himself in to some trouble." Grace says.
"Probably." I reply, still looking around.
We hear a hammerhead screech and we move towards the sound and see Jake holding a gun up to a hammerhead.
"Don't shoot. Don't shoot, you'll piss him off." Grace told him in a hurry.
"It's already pissed off." Jake says, still pointing the gun at the creature.
"Jake, that armour's too thick. Trust me." Grace tell him, making him lower the gun down.
"It's a territorial threat display. Do not run, or he'll charge." I explained to him.
"So, what do I do, dance with it?" He replies in a sarcastic tone.
"Jake, it is no time for you sarcastic comments right now." I tell him in a hurried voice.
"Just hold your ground." Grace tells him, slapping me lightly on the back of my head.
The hammerhead starts growling and then suddenly starts to charge towards him. I'm response he screams. The creature starts to retreat back but I don't think Jake's the reason.
"Yeah? Come on! What you got? Oh, yeah. Who's bad? That's right. Yeah, that's what I'm talking about, bitch." He yells, feeling proud of himself, the hammerhead runs back to his heard. "That's right, get your punk ass back to mommy. Yeah? Yeah, you got nothing. You keep running. Yeah, and why don't you bring back some of your friends, huh?" He keeps going.
I was right, it wasn't Jake the hammerhead was scared of, it was what's behind him. I stare intently at Jake whilst he turns round to the Thanator that was standing behind him on a tree.
Jakes looks up in fear and the Thanator roars and jumps ahead of Jake, I hurried to Jakes side, ignoring Grace and Nrom's protests.
I reach his side and try to get him to run but he won't budge.
"So what about this one? Run? Don't run? What?" Jake asks us.
"Run! Definitely run!" Grace and me yell at the same time.
Jake and me turn around hurriedly and start running, the Thanator starts chasing us, me and Jake jump through a couple of tree root and Jake turns back to see the Thanator right behind us and breaking through the tree.
I pull Jake to run again and we find a tree that we can slide under. The Thanator catches up and starts breaking the roots to the tree, trying to get to us.
Jake starts shooting a gun at it once it gets through the roots. The Thanator takes the gun off him and chucks it in the opposite direction.
We make our way out from under the tree and start running again with the Thanator running after us.
Jake trips over a root and the Thanator grabs his backpack. Luckily Jake unclips his backpack and slips out of it. He falls to the ground and we start running again.
We make it to the edge of a cliff with a waterfall right besides it. We instantly jump off the edge into the water.
Once we hit the water we instantly try to get to the surface. When we do we make our way to the side and grab onto a tree root to catch our breath and pull ourselves out of the water.
We hear roaring from behind us and we see the Thanator at the top of the cliff we jumped off.
