'Am I supposed to say hi or just act chill since clearly we hate each other.' I said to no one in particular

I completely forgot she was still at the door, I took a deep breath and opened the door slowly.
'He...ll....o...'I greeted stuttering for reasons I did not know.
She looks hella cute bruh 😍🤭
'Hi, can we get this over with please I don't have time on my hands ' Essence said hurriedly entering into my living room
'Nice house you got here' she added before I could respond
'Thanks, so where do we begin. From the top?'I replied with a calm expression
'Yeah sure'she said
She was rather calm today. It's kinda hot
'Hell no Jacob. Focus!'I said to myself
Apparently she heard it
' Weird 'she said with a straight face
I chuckled nervously
I don't know why I'm feeling this way tbh ( to be honest)

•2 hours after

"When my whole world is set on fire don't leave me alone.." Essence' phone blared
I know that sound it's definitely from a Burna boy song

'Alone by Burna boy' I piped up
'Uh yeahh' she elated, she has brown coated braces on her inner molars it was glittering so pretty
I tried not to pay attention to it as not to make her self conscious
'You listen to Burna! You're a real one!' She said with another hearty smile that made me smile back
'Do you study well with music' She asked
'Uh yeah' I replied
'Can I connect to your speakers' she said pointing at the little home theatre sitting at a lonely corner in my living room
'sure!' I replied
No sooner, she was playing one of Burna's classics Twice As Tall

•An hour later

'Okay uh it's 3pm I gotta go now'She said
'Oh okay'I replied not so excited
'Thanks for having me and for not making my time here weird or frustrating, I guess I'll see you around 'She added as she exited the living room and closed the door behind her
Ooof that wasn't as bad as I thought, at least it wasn't weird cause' of all the weird thoughts I was having in the Principal's office
'Sighhh'
'Wait though! Don't I need her number or something cause of the project?' I said asking Zachary that was chilling in the living room
'Idk bro' He asked
'Yeah I'm sure I do' I said scratching the back of my neck trying to convince myself it's cause' of the project I want Essence' number
I ran out of my house and stopped Essence before she got into her mum's car
'Uh..hh I need your number' I said to her as her mum watched making me even more shy
'Oh ok okayy yeah' she took my phone from my hand and typed it in and gave a small smile as she entered her mum's car and zoomed away before my eyes
