It Never Ended With A Smile.

Jail time

Victor was getting impatient in the morning. He ultimately came to the conclusion that Smiley and Liam were doing some sort of lovey thing because they were supposed to be back two hours ago. He was getting angry and decided to risk his life to get Smiley back from Liam. At 10:15 AM, Victor called the local police department and the conversation went as followed:

(V) Ciao? È questo il dipartimento di polizia? (Hello? Is this the police department?)

(P) Ciao buon giorno. Sì, questa è la polizia. Hai un problema? (Hello, good morning. Yes, this is the police. Do you have an issue?)

(V) Vorrei denunciare un criminale ricercato. Va sotto il nome di "Smiley". L'ho visto camminare per la mia strada stamattina. Conosco anche la sua posizione attuale. (I would like to report a wanted criminal. He goes by the name of "Smiley". I saw him walking down my street this morning. I also know his current location.)

(P) Ok, puoi darci l'indirizzo? (Okay, can you please give us the address?)

After Victor gave them the address is was heard everywhere that Smiley the serial killer was captured and that his "boss" was also caught and sitting in jail.

(With Smiley and Liam)

"Who could've reported us? No one knew where we were." Liam was questioning everything. Smiley was just sitting on the floor of the cell thinking about what he was going to say to Victor. That is if they ever saw each other again.

"What am I going to say to Victor?!?" Smiley panicked.

"Smiley calm down...You probably won't see him again. That's a good thing!" Liam tried cheering him up. It didn't work. It only helped Smiley realize how much he depends on Victor and how much he cares about him no matter what Victor does to him as punishment. That also came the the thought of how much Smiley loved him. No. He didn't love Victor. He hated him. But that didn't matter at the moment. Right now all Smiley could think of was putting Liam in pain. He couldn't figure out why though.

"You did this. Didn't you?" Smiley whispered. Liam was shocked. How could Smiley think he did this when he was with him all night?

"Answer my question. Now." Smiley was getting impatient with Liam. "Liam Ashtek. Answer my question. I'm getting impatient and I don't want to hurt you." Smiley said through clenched teeth.

"Maybe I did. Maybe I didn't. Aw, are you up-" before Liam could finish his sentence, Smiley was on top of him beating the life out of him. Soon guards showed up in front of the cell door and they were trying to open to pull the two of them apart. After the fight ended, Liam was passed out. Smiley thought he had just knocked him out but hours later Liam pronounced dead. Smiley wasn't meaning to kill Liam but it just...happened. Weeks later, Smiley was called out of his cell for his trial. Once in the courtroom, the judge was staring at Smiley. He felt as if the judge was judging him for his crimes. Well, isn't that her job? On the opposite side of the room stood a man. His hair was short and blonde. He was wearing a black button up with a red tie. He looked awfully familiar though and Smiley didn't like that.

"Alright. The trial has begun. Everest Tymers, you are the one accused of killing over 100 people, correct?" the judge asked. Smiley nodded. "Frank Atlos. You are the one that reported Tymers, correct?"

"Yes ma'am." Frank said. Smiley recognized that voice but couldn't remember who it belonged to. After 2 hours of trial, Smiley was found innocent because of lack of evidence. Smiley was let go and was transported to Helena's house.

"Oh my god! Honey, how did the trial go?" she asked as soon as he entered the house.

"I...don't wanna talk about it right now. Sorry" Smiley told her.

"Oh no, don't be sorry sweetie. I understand how overwhelming this can be for someone your age. You can head up to the spare room if you want." Helena said. Smiley walked toward the stairs but stopped before heading up.

"Before I go...where's Victor?" Smiley turned to face Helena. She quickly went pale.

"Um...you see...Victor went to jail. He also had his trial today, I haven't spoken to him since you got caught." Helena explained. Smiley suddenly realized who he had killed in prison.
