It's chaotic me!

As I stand on stage, my friends give me encouraging smiles and my teacher looks at me expectantly. Just no pressure!

When I start to sing, I'm nervous, but then it just gets easier and I manage to sing the whole lyrics without missing a verse, yay!

At the end everyone applauds, and we all go forward to bow and here it comes. Since it was so dark and I was a little too enthusiastic about the applause of the spectators, I step a little too far forward. I'm falling and I expect to fall on the hard ground, but I'm caught.

Rajana: ''Alim? What are you doing here? ''

Alim: "You're welcome."

Rajana: "Oh sorry, thanks, but I didn't know you were coming."

Alim: "Are you serious, I couldn't miss that!"

Rajana: "Umm... you can let go of me now."

And as if struck by lightning, he lets me fall onto the rock-hard floor.

Rajana: "Ouch, that's not what I meant!"

Alim: "I'm sorry, does it hurt?"

No, my butt is made of steel, so why should it hurt?

Rajana: "A little."

Alim: "I'm really sorry Rajana!"

Rajana: "It's okay, I drop things a lot too."

But not people, I think to myself.

Alim: "You were really good."

Rajana: "Thank you."

My friends rush to me to help me up.

When Hala sees Alim, she asks, ''Is that...''

But I give her a warning look and she stops talking.

I've told my friends a lot about Alim. That I liked him... and stuff

Alim: "Hey, what's up?"

"Not much", Alina replies.

Alim: ''I have a lecture here next week so see you there, Rajana!''

''He looks good,'' Maya whispers to me.

Rajana: "SHUT UP!"

Alim: "What?"

Omg that was louder than intended, I give Maya a penetrating look.

Rajana: ''I mean SHUT UP can't be true!''

Alim: "Yes......I already told you."

Rajana: "That's right, I just still can't believe it."

"What can't you believe?" Adam interrupts me.

Rajana: "Oh nothing, Alim has a lecture here next week."

Adam: "And?"

Rajana: ''And what? I'm just happy! ''Go Alim!''

Omg what am I doing, I should shut up my big mouth.

Adam: "Go Alim?" You should join a cheerleading club!''

Because I don't want to argue with Adam in front of Alim, I just ignore him.

Adam: "And how old is our Alim?"

Alim: "I just turned 18."

Adam: "Isn't that true, me too, what a coincidence!"

Alim: "Oh yeah, when?"

Adam: " 10 months ago."

Alim: "But that was a long time ago?"

Adam: ''So I'm older than you.''

Adam gives me an amused look. What's the matter with him? Why is he acting so strange. I have to stop him!

Rajana: "Then we have to address you as Grandpa Adam, I guess"

Alina and Maya burst out laughing while Adam shows no reaction.

I can't really read his gaze. Is he angry or disappointed? I don't know.

Rajana: ''Umm okay I have to go home then.''

But  Adam can't help it and keeps going.

Adam: "How do you know Rajana?"

Alim: "We've known each other since we were kids, our families are good friends."

Adam: "Oh, she's never mentioned you before, I guess she didn't care that much about you, huh?''

Rajana: "ADAM!"

Alim: "What's that supposed to mean?"

Adam: "You know that perfectly well."

Rajana: "Adam, can you come with me?"

Adam: "Sure."

I go into the next room with him.

Rajana: "What are you doing?"

Adam: "What do you mean?"

"Ohhhh, I guess I'm older than you then," I mimic him.

Adam: "It's true!"

Rajana: ''No one asked you, stop provoking him!''

Adam: "Oh look, who is standing up for him seems like you really like him."

Rajana: "Stop it, what's your problem?"

Adam: "Come on Rajana if not to me, be honest with yourself you like him!"

Rajana: "He's an old friend, I don't have feelings for him and even if I do, that's none of your business!"

Adam: "If you say so, but he's into you!"

Rajana: "You're crazy!"

Adam: "You seem blind if you can't see the way he's looking at you."

Rajana: "What are you talking about?"

Adam: "Trust me I know how someone looks who has a crush on someone."

Rajana: ''I'm going now!''

Adam: "Sooner or later you'll see I'm right!"

Rajana: " You know what Adam I'm getting fed up with you. You come to our school, bug me like hell and now you're acting like the Biggest Idiot. No matter who I'm going to love, IT WILL NOT BE YOU!"

Oh, now I hurt him. He looks at me like he's had a dagger stuck in his heart. I can't stand this sight. But I don't have to anymore because he turns around and leaves.

What have I done?
