"You may now turn back on your electronic devices."
A wave of relief washed over the plane as people turned on there phones or laptops once again.
"Remember to not turn on everything though! We could still have problems! Please be aware of this!"
By time I turned my phone on, passengers were being told to either have just the laptop or just the phone.
I unlocked my phone and looked at my messages.
Geoff <3: 'Lily? Are you there? You didn't answer my call earlier. Call me back when you can maybe.'
I got rid of the app and opened my phone and dialed Geoff's number quickly.
"Hello?" I questioned as the ringing stopped.
"Hey Lily!" A smile found its way on my face as I heard Geoff's voice.
"Hey there! Sorry about not answering your call earlier. I had to hop on a plane to England."
"That's okay! Don't worry about it!" Geoff let out a chuckle and I let out a small laugh myself.
"Should i let you get some rest?" Geoff questions after our laughter dies down.
"No! no! I'm good!" I responded quickly.
"Alright. So uh. Why did you have to head to England?"
"My parents want me to visit."
"Just to visit?"
"Yeah."
There was a small break, silence through his and mine end.
"That's bullshit" his voice was sharp and hoarse.
I was about to speak when Geoff spoke again.
"I didn't even get to say goodbye!" His voice was strained, he sounded sad.
"Geoff" I spoke softly, "I'm sorry. I wasn't ready to leave either."
"I'm g-" I heard him hiccup and my shoulders slouched down. "-onna go."
I nodded slightly to myself before speaking. "Okay."
Silence fell over the line once again.
"You know I love you right?"
"y-yeah. I love you to Lily."
