"ouch!" the dome had a small hum, the ring to an electric fence, which I thought was fake so I touched it. Do not touch the dome.

Thunder barked and stood ground beside me. I kneeled beside him and started to scratch his ear "don't worry buddy. Everything's alright."

"Let's go." I stood up and patted my hip, a sign to him to follow. Thunder ran along beside me as I made my way back to the house. A few miles, but it wouldn't kill me.

one month and ten days.

Dad said I should carry a knife with me at all times. People are dying to kill at this point in time so they all have enough food.

It's crazy what some people would do. But I guess it's to keep an amount of limited food to themselves.

That's also a big issue. No more food shipments, no more people going and leaving. We had no idea how long we'd be trapped here.

Maybe forever. But how could we tell. It was far to early. But with supplies thin, no one would know how long anyone would last.
