Her parents had felt bad, leaving their babygirl for the other side of the dome, they didn't want to but it happened.

It happened and here they were on the other side, away from her and feeling the guilt every single second. Realizing they left her alone with a stranger, to her, and that he's dangerous, he could easily harm her.

But they trusted him.

Joe. Joe was different and different in nor a good or bad way, but maybe in the middle, but don't tell him that. Lily's parents had known him for awhile, Joe actually being a co-worker of her mom. Joe was an all around nice guy. He did favors even if you didn't ask, he was that type of guy.

And he was that type of a guy where he threw of a weird vibe when you walked past him. The one who keeps you on your toes looking out for them. As serious as the topic is, he seemed like the person who would put date-rape drugs into your drink. Even though Lily's parents didn't feel the vibe, everyone else gets it.

Lily was terrified of Joe, not only for the reason that she didn't know him at all, but for the fact that he gave that vibe.

A vibe, a thing we all try to make our best, you don't want to give off a strange vibe. You want it as positive as a vibe that you can get. You don't want people to see you when your down. But other people know people better, or, can understand them better, digging out the real informant behind a smile, or behind the tear running down a cheek.

And maybe Lily was over analyzing Joe, but she had to, this man gave her a weird vibe and he talked to her parents. Her parents talked to him. She had to know who he was.
