Everytime he woke up there was something else he remembered about her.  But slowly the memories were slipping away. He hadn't seen her in what felt like in forever. And he didn't know if he'd ever see her again. He just missed her.

He just wanted to hold her again. And wake up to her by his side every morning. As if that was too much to ask for.

He had always hated when she left to go visit her family. Long months away from each other and he just had to keep his cool. Knowing she'd be back soon, or I miss you too. Don't worry I'd never leave you.

Was any of that true anymore?

He had been trying so hard not to lose it, but here he was, in the middle of the subway, crying his eyes out. He wants to move quickly, he wants to go home. But he is stuck on the ride for another three hours.

At the beginning of the trip he had had no idea where he was gonna go. He was just going to get on the train and let it take him wherever it would go.  But now he wanted off. He no longer wanted to just go wherever he was taken. He wanted to go home and cry in peace.

GEOFF'S POV

People were giving me weird looks. Weird looks because guys weren't supposed to cry. Because if they cry, they were a wuss. How dare males have emotions. How dare they.

Right society? Am I getting it right? Me crying right now-Total wuss to every person who sees the water drop down my cheeks.
