news teams surrounded outside of the dome, all trying to get the breaking news in.

The people inside stood bewildered as they couldn't hear anything going on outside the glass. No one outside could hear what happened inside though.

And in the back of all the crowds, stood Geoff. Geoff waiting to see if his loved one was trapped in there. Maybe she was. Maybe she wasn't.

But she hadn't been home for months, and it was killing him slowly. Almost everyone rushed forward when the reporters moved aside.

They all were told not to touch the glass, all followed suit. But Geoff stayed in his spot, the wind blowing his hair slightly.

He stood there for twenty five minutes until almost every was moved back by officers and reporters.

And he saw her. She stood off in the distance with a dog at her side and a rifle slung over her shoulder.

He cried out with a nonhuman noise and rushed forward. Running with all his might towards the glass wall. He ignored all the reporters advice to not touch the glass, having not heard them, he touched the glass with both hands screaming for Lily.

He was told to back away and he didn't, officers started to grab him, but he wasn't leaving. Not without his Girlfriend out of this goddamn glass.

"LILY!" He screamed out once more, his voice cracking and a few tears rolling down
his cheek as he struggled to fight the two officers who had forcefully grabbed him by his arms and were pulling him back.

But Lily didn't here a thing. Not at all. But she had seen Geoff, and for a second, didn't give a shit as the rifle dropped from her shoulder.

She was sprinting, sprinting across the long distance to reach the glass, with both hands forcefully pushed against the stinging pain she screamed, not only in agony but out for Geoff, who couldn't hear her.

The pain was getting to her hands, making them numb but she wasn't leaving. She wasn't leaving until she reached her boyfriend.

But Lily watched as A struggling Geoff was pulled back by the police officers and she pounded on the glass, screaming and crying louder than she should've been, all the more mixed with choked out sobs of Geoff's name.

And Geoff saw it all. Watched in horror as he was drug away from her crying body, who he couldn't even touch. As she was inside and he was outside.
