I smiled, looking over to Lily. She wanted to watch a movie, and so we did.

Pocahontas, that's what she had wanted to watch. It had scared her the first time she ever watched it, she was quite young. But now, it was her favorite movie, we watched it often.

"I'm tired" Lily yawns, stretching and then curling up on my arm.

"C'mere" I said, tapping my leg and lifting my arm. Lily slow climbed onto my lap and situated herself.

And it felt like it was only thirty seconds later that Lily was fast asleep. I smiled, looking back to the television and continuing to watch the movie.

It was two hours and sixteen minutes later and I stared at Lily, who was still asleep on my lap. I shook her shoulder softly.

"Wake up baby"

Lily made a noise of protest and snuggles back into my chest. I chuckled, shaking her again.

"It's getting late, you might wanna get going"

"Mmmmmm" Lily rubs her eyes, and with one slightly open, and looks up at me with a small smile.

Lily gets up and stretches. She then slowly makes her way to the door. Lily sits and grabs her mint green converse, untying them and putting one on at a time and retying them.

"Here, let me give you a ride home, if I recall correctly, you walked here."

Lily nods and I snatch my keys off a hook and open the door for us both. Letting Lily go out first, I follow after and close the door, quickly closing and locking it.

Lily walks slowly in front of me towards the car. I unlocked the doors and she slides into the passenger seat.

"Thank you Geoff." I smiled. Starting over at Lily.

"You're welcome."

After twenty-three and a half minutes, Lily was home.

I waved by to her one last time before driving off. I looked the road and thought about Lily.

Thinking about how I should of just asked her to stay with me. She hasn't stayed over in awhile. Lily was one of the only people I let over to my house. And she would probably be the only person I'll let over to my house.
