rain poured down on the streets. And I stood in the airport near the window, waiting for my parents.

I love how rain sounds, but when it was storming. It was when I got scared. I didn't really like storms.

Being away from home made storms worse. I didn't like the thought of being trapped away from family members.

I was jittery, pacing by the window biting my lip. My stuff was on the floor next to me.

"hurry up" i mumbled tapping my foot on the ground. I kept my distance from the window and stood near my stuff, constantly checking to make sure everything indeed was there.

I wanted to sit but I didn't want to. My eagerness to arrive at my nice and safe house was building and I couldn't contain myself.

I was practically hopping around the airport waiting for my parents to arrive. Several people gave me weird looks before they ran into the storm to reach there cars.

I let out a deep gasp when thunder struck and lighting flashed. I almost fell to the ground, holding myself barley up with wobbly legs.

"Mom. Dad. Hurry up." I said again beneath my breath, collecting my stuff hoping they were there and I just didn't know it.

Several ran in the entrance of the airport and two stumbling sandy blonde haired people came in after.

"Mom! Dad!" I shouted, dropping my suitcase and running towards them. Looking like an idiot yes, but I loved my parents and I had missed them.

"Hi Honey!" She has a thick British accent now. I almost don't recognize her.

My mother is a kind gentle woman, sandy blonde hair accompanied with bright blue eyes.

My father on the other hand, as well with sandy blonde hair, had dark brown eyes which was unusual, but still paired well with him.

"Come on" my father smiled "lets get going before it get's worse!"

I nodded and quickly ran over to pick up my suitcase and moved my backpack so it was comfortable.

I looked out the door and took a deep breath before I broke into a sprint to my parents car.

I shoved everything in the backseat quickly and slammed the door shut with a click.
