two months. it's been two months since I've arrived in Oxford. Two months longer away from Geoff. I didn't plan it to turn out like this.

Hunting wasn't as easy as it seems. With just a knife, it was even harder. My parents had guns, but didn't trust me with them.

It wasn't the largest knife, but it did the job. I was actually walking to the woods. Thunder wasn't with me. Today he was at dad's side. Helping guard whatever it is dad guards.

The wood smelled weird. Weirder than it does normally, but I always push that aside and keep on the objective at hand.

Leaves rustled around and I stayed low, looking around trying to see what animal it was.

After realizing it wasn't an animal, I tried to stay quiet as I looked around. The man sat leaned on a tree, a rifle slung over his shoulder and he was reading a newspaper.

And suddenly, he threw the paper to the ground pulling out a lighter and burning it.
He turned to look my way and I ducked down. But I wasn't fast enough and he called out.

"Stand." His voice was loud.

I stood and pulled the knife from behind my back. "Don't you dare touch me" I hissed, holding the weapon in front of me.

"Who said I'd hurt you pretty girl?" The man gave me a smirk, holding the loaded gun towards me.

The rifle was slung over my shoulder and I held the knife practically to the mans neck.

"Wh-" I interrupted his sentence.

"I didn't say you could talk scum" I hissed, my shirt blowing with the breeze, showing the bottom halve of my bra.

The man made a small noise. "Don't even make a noise. I will not hesitate to silt your throat." I spoke in a grim tone.

"Alright alright." he held his hands up and I held the knife close to his neck.

"You don't make a peep, try to run or take the knife or gun. Got it old man?" I hissed.

He nodded, listening to my first rule. Good, business was in order. As I reached closer to the tower, I hollered for Thunder.

"C'mere boy!!" Thunder was growling and barking as he ran towards the man.

"Stand down!" Thunder immediately sat beside me.

I turned towards the man. "And as for you." "Dad!" My dad ran over and saw the man and his eyes got large.
