My head banged against the window and I woke up suddenly. "Sorry, I didn't mean to turn that sharp. We're almost to the hospital so you might as well stay awake."

Ignoring Mason, I slouched down in my seat and began to dream a perfect life.

A life we don't live.

"Or don't listen to me." Mason chuckles.

"When do I ever?" I hide the smile creeping it's way onto my face. I will not give him that satisfactory!

"Touché! Oh hey, lookee there babe, we're here!" He squeals.

Oh. My. Gosh. Remind me why he's my best friend again please..

"Babeeeeeeee, gettttt uppppppppp!" Mason whispers close to my ear. I turn my face, expecting him to be leaning back in his seat smirking his asshole smirk, but he's not. He's still in the same position right next to my face.

My lips accidentally brush his and we both pull back. A blush creeps it's way onto my face and I look away.

"Let's go. Don't wanna keep Jason, waiting huh?" Mason says hesitantly. We both get out of my truck and walk towards the front entrance of the building. "You look exhausted, why don't I run in and tell Jason you'll come back tomorrow-"

"No! He wants and needs me here, so that's when I'll be." I say through a yawn. Bad timing.

"Your such a good sister."

"Yeah, I know."

"Your cockiness is not healthy." Mason chuckles, swinging an arm around my shoulders. I sleepily melt into his touch and he practically carries me all of the way to Jason's hospital room.

I become a little more awake as we step into the still curtained room.

"Finally!" Jason gasps.

"Sorry, he's a slow driver." I yawn again, pointing a finger in Mason's direction. Mason rolls his eyes but tightens his grip around my waist, as if someone was going to take me away from him. I send him a confused glance. He shrugs and I let it brush by not worried much.

"Why'd you want her here?" Mason asks, taking a seat and pulling me in next to him.

"I was bored and needed someone to talk to."

"Don't you have nurses?" Mason snaps. "She's exhausted but insisted we come."

"Why are you speaking for her? She has a mouth of her own you know." Jason snaps back.

"Because I know her."

"I know her too." Jase snaps, and I feel my eyes getting heavy.

"Not anymore!" My heart sinks but I know he's right.

"Yes I do. Her favorite color's green. She hates pink. She loves classical music and hates rock. Her best friends you, obviously, and Liana is her enemy. She plays softball but is now on the baseball team. She has extremely lame jokes and feeds off of sarcasm. She's super clumsy, but you'd have to know her to know that. Her middle name is Grace but she tells no one and denies it when you ask her. She my twin sister and I love her."

I had never been so awake in my life, as I sprung into Jason's arms hugging him.

"Our first game is tomorrow, here at the park at 6o'clock. Don't be late or I'll just have to make you run more sprints."

I mock a gasp and put a hand over my heart and hold onto Mason for fake support. "Sprints? What ever will we do if we must do more deathly sprints?" Everyone chuckled and Smith rolled his eyes and nudged me. I laughed along and grabbed my mitt.
