(STILL MASON'S POV:)

After the party was all finished up, and after we cleaned, Olivia and I went to her game room to play Just Dance. Okay, nows the time. I told myself. "Soo, you know what would make this birthday fantastic?" I started cheekily.

She shrugged, pulling the disc out of it's box.

"How about a date?" I asked nervously. Out of shock, Olivia dropped the disc and banged her head on the tv stand. I rushed to her side, but couldn't help but laugh. Suddenly, the nervousness rushed back to me but I tried to hide it best I could. "I- I mean you d-don't have to if you don't want to. It was a bad idea after all-"

Olivia cut me off. "Yes."

"W-what?" I asked.

"Yes, Mason I'll go on a date with you." My mouth dropped open, but I quickly composed myself. I nodded and smirked a little. "Now, I will beat your ass in Just Dance." She said standing.

I stood also, and mentally thanked my height for intimidation. Though, she didn't back down or show any sign of care. "Bring it on." I challenged.

As I was walking home, I shot a text to Olivia.

Me: Thanks for everything back there, babe. The party, and presents, I mean.

Olivia: wow.. Didn't know you missed me that much! You only just walked out of my house, Mase.

Me: a simple 'you're welcome' would've met my standards.

Olivia: you know, now that my dad's back he's been very protective of his little girl. He literally pulled out his shotgun when I told him we were going on a date.

Me: well... I'll see you next week. I think i should give him some time to calm down. Wouldn't want me to be blasted would you?

Olivia: you're an idiot.

Me: thank you thank you very much.

Olivia: still an idiot.

Me: still proud.

Olivia: you know you should really watch where your walking.

Me: how do you know- you're window!

Olivia: I have no idea what you're talking about;)

Olivia's window was a huge glass case, almost the size of her wall. She had huge drapes, covering her room while she sleeps but with that big of a window, she could see me at my house... Two roads away.

Fortunately for us, we were the only two, tall houses in the town. We were straight across from each other and that meant when Olivia and I need to talk we can gesture or something. It also helps that we have phones. But whatever.

(A/N: it's so short! I know, I know! Although  for this story I have huge writers block! Also, I kind of got side tracked on the new story I am writing! It's coming soon, and it's called "Lost In The City", by me obviously! Please check it out! I love you all, comment, vote, and keep reading!)

Me: I'll see you at that date then, huh?

Olivia: Until then.

Me: Until then..

Is it always this hard to plan a date? Like seriously, I am stressing about taking my best friend on a date. I mean I know everything about her, but it's just so.. Ugh!
