Matthew's little sister

Chapter 40

Matts POV
We were running around the back yard, jumping around having fun. I was 9, Lindsi was 8 and Hailee was 5.

Lindsi was it. She ran around trying to find us when she lost her footing and fell in a mud hole that was pretty deep. Her ankle was stuck in it and she broke her foot pretty bad. She had to stay in the hospital for a few days.

It wasn't the same without the three of us playing together. When I missed her that time she got hurt was exactly how I felt now.

END OF FLASHBACK.

It was really dark out and the road was bumpy. I was so angry and upset and felt like punching the glass open. I tapped my foot harder and harder every time on the floor. I started pounding on the side of the car.

"Matt stop-" Hailee said. I ignored her and kept doing it . "Matt stop it." she said louder. I still ignored her. "MATTHEW I said STOP. Please Matt this isn't easy for me either!" My sister said looking at me.

I stopped and just sat there looking at the leather seat of the car. "guys where almost here get ready." Cameron turned down a street and parked the car in the middle not even bothering to park it in a space. I jumped out of the car with Hailee on my heels and we burst into the house.

"LINDSI ! WHERE ARE YOU!" Hailee shouted running around the house. I walked to the bathroom and tried jiggling the knob. It was locked ! "No no no NO LINDSI OPEN THE DOOR NOW!"

"Matt Move!" Hailee came and shoved me out of the way. She had some type of clip that she shoved in the door and popped it open. I pushed open the door and saw Lindsi just standing there, smiling to herself in a mirror.

"Lindsi ! You're okay !" I went to hug her. She laughed drowsily. "Matthew I'm just perfect lOL besides that people want me dead, but it's just whatever I guess hah." she laughed like she was drunk or something.

Then I saw the bottle on the counter. "Lindsi why would you do this?" Hailee whispered.

"Little sister doesn't know a thing does she? I had to. People don't want me here." she laughed again.

Hailee started crying and I hugged her. "Lindsi your out of your mind !" I said pointing to her head.

"No no no Brother, it's-it's not me that's out of my mind lol. It's you that's out of your mind."
