Sidney's POV

I mean Hailee is a good friend so far but do you really think no ones gonna notice her? Honestly I keep it lowkey but I'm like the biggest fan girl ever. I know my crap. I knew who she was, I just didn't want to make it seem like I was becoming her friend for the fame or Hayes so I pretended like I didn't know her for a second.

I actually wasn't becoming her friend for the fame like most of these stuck up girls would. I think she's really cool. Honestly, I really like Hayes and consider myself lucky that I go to the same school as him.

It all started like 1 year and 1/2 ago. My ex best friend, Bree dated Hayes for a while until they broke up this summer. She moved away after their breakup due to some things, like attempted murder. No one ever wanted to tell me what exactly happened and who was involved. My family never told me because she was like my best friend at one point but we had a fall out last year.

Bree and her family moved to New York I heard from her mom and they might move to California.

Anyways my point is, I've like him since before they dated and I thought maybe I have a chance but obviously not because he can't even get my name right.

"Hey Sidney." I heard a voice behind me. It was Hailee.

"Hi so how do you like the school so far?" I smiled.

"Good good, a lot of snobby girls around here." She laughed.

I saw Hayes walk up to us and he was on the other side of Hailee.

God I wished I had their friendship.

"What was that?" She asked looking at me.

Oh god I said that out loud. Stupid stupid.

"Oh I didn't say anything!" I laughed playing it off.

The three of us walked to our next class and walked in, kids already sitting at desks talking to each other or throwing things around the room. I found three open seats and motioned for them to sit down.

Hailee sat down in the middle and I was on one side and Hayes on the other once again.

I just sat down and tried to concentrate when the annoyingst basic girl of them all came up to where we were sitting and sat tried to sit on Hayes' lap.

He obviously tried pushing Emma off but she's like a pest. She won't leave until she gets what she wants. If she could buy Hayes she would. God I hate her. Hailee was doodling on her notebook when she looked up.

She looked beyond annoyed so I don't know what the hell I was thinking but I stood up and pushed Emma and she fell on her butt.

Hailee started cracking up.

"Yeah how bout you move along?" I said staring at Emma.

She got up and brushed herself off obviously embarrassed.
