Chapter 59

Hailees POV

I heard the loud beeping of the alarm clock on the bedside table.

I groaned opening my eyes. I glanced over at the clock and the red glowing letters read 11:00. Oh crap. The VIP session starts at 11:50!

"Matthew!Hayes! Wake up we're going to be late it's 11:00!" I shouted.

"I'm up I'm up." Matt yawned.

I picked up my outfit and went into the bathroom. I threw on my ripped jean shorts and a black muscle tee and some maroon vans. (I brushed my teeth and did all that stuff)

I did beach curls in my hair and put one some cat ears I found in my suitcase.

I walked out of the bathroom once I finished and glanced at the clock. 11:15.

"Okay let's go." I said to Matt and Hayes who were on their phones.

We walked to the lobby and found everyone eating breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

"Hey sleepy heads." My sister waved.

"Hi early head." I said.

There was a buffet of breakfast foods lined up on these marble tables. Matt, Hayes and I grabbed plates a served ourselves.

I put some bacon and pancakes and pineapples on my plate and sat down by my mom.

"You've got 10 minutes to eat that before the car comes." Mom said glancing at her watch.

"Food should never be rushed." I laughed.

I had barely finished my bacon and pineapples when the car arrived.

"But my pancakes!" I whined getting up from the table.

"I'll buy you a candy bar later cmon were gonna be late." My brother said dragging me along.

"What kind?" I asked.

"I don't care whatever you want."

We got into the car and drove to the big venue. It wasn't that far from the hotel. Less than five minutes.

The building had tall glass windows and like a huge arch thing with a banner saying the event name. It was pretty cool.

We went through the back door without being seen by the bunch of cars trying to find parking out front.

Through the door was the VIP area and there were a bunch of booths with our names on them.

"Wow I feel so special." I said going over to my
booth.

"Im so proud of you." Hayes mocked going to his booth next to mine.

"Shut up. I'm proud of myself." I said sticking out my tongue.

Mom stayed backstage in the lounge probably drinking coffee and being boring.

There was a stage next to the booths and backdrops where the DJ started blasting music as VIP were starting to be let in.

People were lining up at the backdrops to take pictures and stuff. Everyone would go down the line and take their pictures and yeah.

I had sat down when my phone went off.

A message from an unknown number read

You're gonna regret this. My whole crew is in jail because of you.

I didn't even have to guess who it was from.

So you see a few days before we came for the meet and greet, Axel wouldn't leave me alone. Event those scary people he knew would follow me after school. I was freaked and I told my mom and we called the cops.

They found Axels group and they were either a bunch of drug traffickers or runaway inmates from around the freaking world.

Axel got away unfortunately because he's a minor and they don't have proof he did anything. But everyone else he was working for were locked up.

I didn't even notice I was biting my nails. Axel is capable of a lot of crap.

"Hayes." I said passing him phone.

"He won't do anything I promise okay?" He smiled reassuringly.

"I don't know. I guess I'm really terrified." I sighed.
