Hailees POV

-- the next morning --

Hey I know you aren't talking to me but meet me at the coffee shop around the corner in 10 minutes. Please.

Read the text from Sidney.

I laughed really hard and set the phone down on the table.

"Why the hell are you laughing by yourself? Weirdo." Matt muttered opening the door.

"Whoops." I yelled after him.

I don't know what came over me guilt I guess but I sat there for a while and finally decided to go. I mean what's the worst that could happen?

I grabbed my bag and my phone and shut the door walking downstairs.

"MOM! I'm going out to the coffee shop! See you later!" I screamed.

"Okay be careful!" My mom shouted back.

It took me like 5 minutes to walk there and I saw Sidney sitting in the corner booth.

I went in and sat down not saying a word.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry I really am. Please forgive me." Sidney cried.

Being the evil person I am I wanted to laugh but I held it in.

"Mhm."

"I don't know what came over me please I feel like crap. You're the first real friend I had." She continued.

Ugh. Stop I hate it when people cry.

"Sidney. It's fine. I'm just a little over protective. You're the first real friend I had at the school and I guess it hurt a lot more." I said half smiling.

"Thank god I thought you were mad at me and-"

"It's okay Sidney it really is."

She came over and hugged me.

"We're good now?" I said.

"Of course." She smiled.

Hayes walked in with some guys from school and Sidney immediately hid.

"Oh no. Hailee I gotta hide he's gonna be pissed what do I do!?" She shrieked from under the table.

"For starters he already saw you might as well come out from under the table." I said.

Hayes started walking towards the table Sidney and I were at and he looked pissed.

"Hayes.. Relax." I warned.

"Look who it is. The girl who has no friends. She likes to hook up with everyone! Even guys who have girlfriends!" Hayes said really fricking loud and pointed at Sidney.

All of his friends hooted and slapped hands.

"Hayes shut up." I turned around facing him.

"Stay out of H." He then turned to his friends.
"Guys better hide. Sidney the stripper might try to hook up with you guys too."
