Chapter 98: A bargain to make

Ayanokouji POV

We continued our search for both Kaguya and Miyuki (Shirogane). 

I wanted to sleep but of course, something like this has to happen. 

Anyways, Kurumi and I along with the rest of Class S who are still awake are still finding them

Given how massive the ship is. It's like looking for a needle in a haystack. 

But before finding either of those two, we also need to find that hooded figure Hayasaka mentioned. 

So basically, that's three needles that we need to find in this massive haystack.

Kirigiri POV

Finding this hooded person wouldn't be that simple despite being the only person wearing a hood. 

This ship has a large interior so it's going to be tough to find him here. 

As I looked around, I suddenly encountered a girl who was walking with a cane.

If I recall this is Sakayanagi Arisu from Class 2-A, I wonder what she's doing this late at night? 

I decided to approach her and ask her some questions. 

"Ohh hello, can I help you?" 

"I'd like to ask a few questions" I said 

"Very well, what is it?" she asked 

"Have you seen a hooded figure around here?"  

"A hooded figure? haven't seen anyone like that" she replied 

"Are you sure?" 

She's not telling the truth, given the info that I got of the students. Sakayanagi is the smartest in Class A and no doubt that she knows more than she's letting on. Given that she has spies in her class with Kamuro and Yamamura being examples. 

"Yes I am." Sakayanagi replied 

"Well, I have a different question in mind" I said 

"Ohh? then ask away" she said 

"Alright" 

I took out my phone and showed her this: 

An info on a student that we haven't met before 

The boy in the image had purple eyes with black hair

"I did my research on every student of this entire establishment including all of the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years. Although Ayanokouji-kun and the rest did their own research. I made a more thorough one myself. There is one student in your class that has pretty much have yet to be seen or interacted with us" I explained 

"fufufu" 

"What's so funny?" 

"Class S never noticed him before? what a shame but he is as much of a mystery to me as well." Sakayanagi said 

"He has really good grades, in fact as good as mine" she added 

"I see, and that student's name here is Chikao Tadashi?" 

"Yes, that's his name. I'm surprised even Ayanokouji-kun isn't aware of him. He's quite intelligent you know. Though he doesn't interact much with others aside from Hashimoto-kun" she explained 

"So, Hashimoto is close to this person?" I asked 

"Yes, it's not rare to see him interact with Chikao-kun"
