Chapter 119: Tensions Rise/Intense Chess game

Ayanokouji POV

I now arrived at the chairman's office 

I have no idea what he wants from me, but I could only assume it has to do with the White room given that Haru and I already expelled Yagami from the school. 

Although I knew that this wouldn't be over yet since my father wouldn't give up so easily.

If the chairman is just here to warn me about the White room and their next plan. I wouldn't be surprised if that's the case but what does my father have left in store for me?

Either way, I won't go back to that place only when I graduate from this school and eventually destroy the White room. 

I opened the door to the office and as expected, the chairman was there. 

"Ayanokouji-kun, welcome" he said 

"So, what did you call me here for?" I asked 

"Ahh yes, please take a seat" I sat on one of the chairs as I make myself comfortable 

I waited for about 2 minutes in silence until the chairman spoke. 

"I'm sure you're thinking about why Amasawa is the one I asked to call you here?" 

"Yes, I'm sure you know that she's from the White Room too" I said.

"Of course, I do. After all, your father was the one who told me who he's going to enroll to this school" the chairman said

"I see"

"Anyways, here" he gave me a letter to me

"What's this?" I asked 

"It's from your father" he replied 

"It's a warning of some kind." he added 

"A warning?" 

"I know he won't stop until he brings you back" he said 

"I'm aware and he will fail" I said assuring him

"I wouldn't be so sure this time. Your father is planning something that is more concerning than just bringing you back." 

"What do you mean by that?" I asked

"You can read the letter later and find out" the chairman said with a concerning tone

"Very well" I said as I left the room 

3rd person POV

As Ayanokouji left, the chairman picks up his phone and calls someone. 

Chairman: We have a situation

Ryuzaki: What kind of situation? I'm assuming this has to do with the White Room?

Chairman: Yes, has he already told you?

Ryuzaki: Not yet. I'm going to talk to him soon, but I have a feeling that he's going to continue avoiding all of that. 

Chairman: I knew that you would say that. Of course, he did come to this school so that he could have a peaceful life but given how things went down as of late with the White Room. I don't think he's going to cooperate anytime soon. by the way why didn't you ask Kaito-sensei?

Ryuzaki: I already did but given how he hasn't been associated with Ayanokouji-sensei for a while now. I don't think he even knows his current location. 

Chairman: I understand, you really are determined to get the answers out of Ayanokouji-kun aren't you? 

Ryuzaki: He is the key in dealing with that man or even knowing his whereabouts. Ms. Kirigiri and I are still trying to extract info from him.
