Ayanokouji POV

It's around evening as I decided to read Kaizen by Sarah Harvey.

It's basically a book about self-improvement as I am trying to find some level of self-improvement in this otherwise, "normal" life I live in.

Though it's a real shame that Kurumi and Yumeko couldn't get the info we need about Chikao, but I suppose from what I know from the information they got.

Chikao really is a clever guy but in terms of physical capabilities, he really is trying hard not to show it.

I suppose getting info isn't going to matter against the likes of them.

After all, Haru is the biggest threat in that class.

He knew he wanted to battle me in the first place.

Trying to use every trick in the book to hinder me and my class but it was never going to work.

Of course, I think given the circumstances, I think my focus should be dealing with Haru once and for all.

I stood up and looked at the letter that the Chairman gave me.

This letter isn't just a warning for me.

It's also a warning for Haru.

The old man is coming for the both of us soon.

The likely scenario would be to bring in a new White Room student to bring me back, but I wonder though.

Is it just one or more?

I heard a knocking on the door.

About time.

I hid the letter on my drawer and headed straight for the door.

I opened it and as expected it was Kurumi.

"May I come in?" she asked.

"No one was following you right?" I said as I looked at her.

"Of course not. Besides if someone were to follow me then I can just ask Akabane-kun and Shiota-kun to take that spy down. Simple as that." she's unbelievably scary if someone decides to mess with her.

"Just get inside." I said as Kurumi casually walks in.

She really does keep her cool.

"So, why did you call me at a time like this?" Kurumi asked.

"You had other plans?" I asked back.

"No, not really." she replied as she then sat on my bed.

"You're awfully calm, is there something on your mind?" I asked.

"Nahh I'm just surprised that you called me to your room at a time like this. So, what's up?"

I began to also sit on the bed next to her.

"What you said to me about seeing you and the rest of our class as not being tools. I suppose you're right. None of you are tools to me." I said to her.

"Then why is that?" she asked.

"I guess it's because this class feels different. It's filled with some like-minded people.  I suppose if this were any class that's not Class S. Then everyone there would've been just tools to me in the end. I guess another reason being, I don't think they're even easy to make them my tools. In all honesty, they're the smartest people that I've been with in one single room. Each with their own ideals and philosophy." I explained.

"Really? I mean some of us are just ordinary people and yet we are just extraordinary in so many ways. So, is that it? you brought me here to talk about our classmates?" she asked.
