Chapter 129: The Overnight Exam

Luckily, I didn't need to stay in Amasawa's presence for too long. 

It would've ended weird if this goes on. 

Though my peace has been disrupted once again as I saw her.

"There you are Kouhai-kun" 

I was standing face to face with Kiryuin-senpai. 

"What do you want from me?" I asked. 

"I just want to talk that's all. Plus, you do owe me something for helping you back at the island exam." 

"Owe you? I don't ever recall owing you something." I replied.

"Don't be like that Kouhai-kun, besides you and I never really got to compete against each other. But you can't back down since it's already been decided. I hope you go all out against me since..." 

"I'm planning to do the same." 

So, this is how it goes? I never really get to see her at her fullest. 

But I suppose she could be of a challenge. 

"I'm not planning to hold back. After all, you are my opponent." I spoke. 

"You're quite scary, I want to see more of that. I hope you can satisfy me." That latter one sounded strange, but she gave a smile. 

"Whatever you say." I said before leaving. 

"You better be ready. I want to see my favorite kouhai show off his true skills." she said from a distance. 

She really is something. 

Though she doesn't actually stand a chance against me. 

I'd say she can only beat about only 15% of Class S.

Let's see if her arrogance isn't just something that she does.

Days have passed as it's already been one week. 

It was the day, or should I say the night of the special exam. 

It was around 8:35 AM so there is time to prepare. 

4 classes in the same group. 

With 5 events being shuffled at random where we can compete against whichever class we match up against. 

Since the we'll be taking part of different events from the other classes at random. 

We have to adapt to the conditions of the said event. 

Yes, this is what the exam is about. 

It's not just about having to endure the reality of adulthood such as working in the late hours but also to deal with unpredictable situations which tests our adaptability and critical thinking. 

It is a free day for the entire morning up until the start of the exam around 8 PM.

I have plenty of time to kill.

I'm heading to Keyaki mall to buy some snacks for later tonight since pretty much the rules allowed us to take a 30-minute break after every event. 

So, I'm just only preparing myself in case I get hungry. 

I placed my goods on the counter to get all of it paid.
