"Hey newt I'm back" says a girl. Her British accent barely detectable under the influence of the slang on the glade.
"Hi. How was the run today Cassy?" Said A boy name newt, he was almost a copy of Cassy just taller and well...male.
"Oh, you know the same as usual, do you need me to take anything over?" Cassy said plucking an apple off a tree and taking a bite.
"Yeah, thanks," Newt says looking at her annoyed. He hands her a basket of fruit and vegetables to sort.
"Newt sent this o-" Cassy says before a loud rumbling and cranking noise erupts, then a voice begins shouting
" the box the box, its back"
'but its not supposed to come for another two weeks'
Cassy thinks to herself as newt and Cassy scramble to their feet and run over to the metal box that shakes the glade to its core. Newt jumps in the box
"it's another girl" he says confused. Everyone stands there confused and shocked for a minute, before an eruption starts
"... I call first dibs!"
" shes really pretty"
"great another girl"
"look at her"
Cassy glared at the boys then pushed them aside as she walked over to Newt get the girl out of the box. They help the girl out of the box.
"where am I, whats going on" she cries in a panicked tone edging away from where a horde of boys who where staring at her.
"your in the glade" cassy replied matter a factly
'I thought I was the only one.'
Cassy's thoughts thundered.Alby and Newt start directing people away, and cassy tries to approach the girl but she gets up and begins to walk away.
"Hey wait!" Newt calls after the girl who is ignoring everyone. Newt begins to chase after the girl but as he does Cassy yells
"WAIT! DUDE! Maybe I should follow her, your kinda weird, especially when you like something." Newt glares at Cassy but he runs off any way. Cassy throws up her hands then screams at him
"why the shuck do I even try!"
" hey its ok" newt says as he approaches the girl sitting against a tree in the woods
" why can't I remember anything, what is this place, why am I here," the girl questions as newt sits down beside her
" your name should come back to you in a day or two" he says uncertain of how exactly to handle the situation
" come on ill introduce you to Alby ".
"hi" she says softly as they enter the homestead
" quite a show back there huh greenie" gally says with a smirk on his face
" shuck of gally" cassy and newt say in unison
"hi I'm alby I'm the leader around here, I'll show you around" alby explained like every-time before
" welcome greenie, follow the rules and well be on good terms, you've already met newt he is second in charge but he works in the farm as a track-hoe"
" u-uh what exactly are the rules"the greenie asks still shaking
"Well we only have a few rules here. No.1 NEVER harm another glader...unless they deserve it, we have each others back around here. No.2 do your part we cant afford for any free loaders, and finally we NEVER leave those walls." Alby said pointing at the doors and walls to the maze the girl looks at him sceptically then pointed at Minoh who was running into the glade from in the in the maze, she says questioningly
"What about him....he went into the maze, did he break a rule?" Alby looks at her sympathetically then says.
"There different they are runners. Every day they go into the maze and try find a way out. Now lets get off that topic and I'll show you around".
~~~~time skip After the tour~~~~
"well here we are this is where you'll sleep, but me and newt sleep over there in the homestead"
