Newt closes the vent softly jumping into the hallway behind Thomas
"Here we are" Aris says as he walks into the room a second set of doors awaiting them he unlocks the second set of doors leading into a huge room
"what is this" Thomas says as the three of them walk into the room, bodies with tubes and wires liquid draining out of the people that were taken each day by Janson to the 'safe heaven' was just a trick they were being held here, being tested on,
"klunk" newt says as they hear the outer doors sliding open, they hide behind a post as Janson and one of the other scientists walk in through the hallway towards a box in-front of a plain wall
"She's demanding a meeting now." A man says waking quickly behind janson. A screen appeared flickering until the lady who was supposed to be dead, Ava Paige.
"Janson. We need to act faster, I just got board approval. Where initiating phase two. You need to speed up the extraction process." Janson glared Ava through the screen.
"Where moving as fast as possible-" janson began but got cut off by Ava who yelled
" Get going now!" Janson nodded then smirked and said
"may suggest we start with our newest arrivals?" Ava went to end the transmission then said
"oh and Janson... I don't want them to feel any pain." they walk out of the room leaving newt Thomas and Aris undetected
"we need to leave, we need to worn the others" Aris says making sure its safe to go
"what about thena and cassy" newt says getting defensive " we cant leave them" Aris says agreeing with newt
"just trust me ok, we will get them after we get the others, and by the looks of it we are probably going to need there help" Thomas says needing them both to agree with him
"fine, but if anything goes wrong, if we don't get the girls back..." newt says trailing off not liking the idea of never seeing them again
"look I promise we will get them" Thomas says a sympathetic tone, aris and newt nod at each other in agreement and follow Thomas back into the vent to get the others.
"We need to go now" Thomas says rushing back into the room he grabs a mattress to board up the door
"whats going on Thomas" Minho says walking towards Thomas
"what did you see" Minho continues
" Ava is alive its wicked, its always been wicked" Thomas says convincing them to go with him. They climb out of the other end of the vent starting to leave before aris says
" I've got something I need to do"
"what" Thomas says stopping momentarily
" you want to get out don't you" aris says half climbing Into the vent
" its alright, ill go with him" Winston says climbing the vent behind aris
" ok " Thomas replies leaving them, they run down the hallway and around a corner
"What are you kids doing out?" a scientist says as alarms start blaring they grab ahold on the scientist almost holding her captive
"Minho what are you doing" Thomas says as Minho turns around
"one sec" Minho says as he runs and nocks a guard into the wall then grabs the guards gun,
" hello Crawford" a scientist says as they push the scientist through the door, they push through the door pointing the gun at the other scientist
" where are they" Thomas says getting angry
"WHERE ARE THEY!" newt exclaims emphasising what Thomas just said, the scientist slightly nods towards a hospital curtain in the room
"Cass" Thomas says sympathetically putting his hand on cassy's head
"what did they do to you" newt says softly as he helps thena get up undoing the tubes and wires they have hooked up to both the girls,
"frypan look out" Minho says as he kicks a table blocking the door
" a little help here" Thomas says hitting the glass window with a chair, newt picks up a chair and throws it at the window shattering it almost instantly thena looks at newt a surprised but almost expecting look on her face, Thomas lays down a blanket over the smashed window frame and lifts cassy over it guards shout trying to get into the room as newt carry's Thena's weak body through the window, they run down the hallway till they get to a door Thomas swipes an id card it bussing in every failed attempt to open the door
"Thomas" Janson shouts getting his attention
"open this door Janson!" Thomas says pointing the loaded gun at him
"you really don't want me to do that" Janson says as him and his guards creep closer
"OPEN THE DAMB DOOR!" Thomas shouts leaving almost no time in between their two sentences
"LISTEN TO ME, I'm trying to save your life the maze is one thing but you kids wouldn't last one day out in the scorch" Janson says clearly getting on everyones nerves
"if the elements don't kill you the cranks will, Thomas you have to believe me, I only want whats best for you" Janson continues menacingly
" let me guess WICKED is good" Thomas
says as Janson puts his arms to his side "your not getting through that door Thomas" Janson says softly before a loud alarm like sound echoes through the hall way followed by the door opening
"hey" aris says Winston standing beside him. All of the boys run out of the door and join Winston and aris, Thena who had regained her strength helped cassy through the door. Slowly the door began to shut leaving Tommy trapped on the other side with Janson
" Thomas hurry " cassy says using the last of her energy to call for him, her weak body hanging between aris and Minho's shoulders just to stay upright, Thomas shoots at Janson and the guards using up the rest of his ammo leaving and empty gun he throws the gun at Janson as a last line of defence, Thomas sprints to the door closing slowly every second the door getting lower to the ground everyone looks at tommy anxiously, a look of desperation on Cassidy's face empowering Thomas even more to get back he makes it through sliding on the ground the door almost shutting on his head,
" move!" Aris shouts as he smashes up the card reader it sparking as Janson try's to get through
" we need to get out of here"Thomas says grabbing cassy's other arm to stabilise her as they run away through the warehouse, they get to another door, newt opens it turning a lever, the door opens slowly revealing a huge dusty sandy black desert.
