Chapter 5- Stucked in A Relationship

Kyoko's POV-

I slipped my feet through my uwabaki and tapped the top of both of them on the ground twice. I screamed- "I am leaving, ojiisan!" before turning the knob off the main door. I got out of the house and just froze in my position.

I-is that Kanzaki?

My jaws dropped when I found Kanzaki staring at me with his ocean eyes and a heart-melting smile with his bicycle. I immediately locked closed the door behind me and slowly approached him with a confusing look.

I asked him with my puppy eyes- "Umm... G-good morning."

I should've said 'You look cute' instead.

He looked into my eyes and said- "Good Morning! Umm... I know I should've informed you earlier about my arrival. I pass by your house every day. So I thought we can go together!"

I slowly hummed before a nod.

Then we settled off towards the school. We both were silent on our ways. Suddenly Kanzaki began- "I have something to give you."

He wants to give me something?

I watched him searching for something inside his black randoseru. Then he looked into my eyes and smiled as he took out a small file and handed it down to me.

I looked at it and asked- "What is it?"

He said- "Well yesterday night before sleeping I worked on this file. This file contains all the information about the structure of the school. I mean all the clubs and rooms of the school along with some additional of this year. Study it well and if you need help you can ask me."

I shifted my gaze back at him from the file and smiled- "Thank you!"

*At School*

As I took my seat, Fumiko startled me with a sudden bang on my back.

Gosh! My heart!

I looked at her grinning face and sighed in relief and said- "You completely startled me!"

She laughed and apologized. Then she looked at the file and asked me while pointing at it- "What is it?"

I explained to her what happened earlier mentioning what this file contains. She rested her head on her palm and said- "This assignment would be the best one I wish. I mean you both will represent our class. That's why, I am going to support you still, even though I appreciate Hiroshi and Aoi's hard work too. Best of luck, hun!"

I smiled back at her and thanked her.

I will also give my best on this work.

A few classes went on until finally it was the lunch break and Kanzaki went out to gather information. I finished my lunch quickly and both of us- Aoi and I went upstairs to the library. We took our seats and studied the file I had. Surprisingly Aoi didn't have a file.

I looked at her upset face and asked her with concern- "What's wrong Aoi?"

She looked at me and sighed- "Kanzaki and you both are working very hard for it. Hiroshi and I are doing the same too. But I feel like senpai should've suggested teamwork instead. I feel less confident."

Aoi's words touched my heart.

It will not be a big issue to take them to our team. Especially, when I feel like I am distracted by having Kanzaki around me all the time. They both can help me a lot.
