Kyoko's POV-
I opened my eyes slowly. I felt myself on a soft surface. I got up from the bed and looked around me. I got out of my mind when I realized I was not at home and in some other place. I tried to get out of bed but the sudden pain in my arms interrupted me. I was injected with something probably. I started imagining the things I had read about in comic books. I thought just like Sakura Sasaki, I was also kidnapped and injected with drugs. Just by then, the door of that old room opened with a crackling sound. I almost lost my soul. But suddenly my jaws dropped when I saw Ms. Ikari looking at me with a smile.
"S-sensei? What are you doing here?" I asked in confusion.
"I found you lying on the stone bridge earlier and almost lost my soul. I brought you home with the help of my neighbors and called the doctor to visit you. He injected you with Diazepam. It's not something else you are probably thinking about." She said assuring me.
"Oh... wait?! Diazepam injection? Isn't it used to treat panic disorders?" I asked her as my heart started beating slower.
"Yes. The reason, you became senseless on the bridge was probably because of anxiety. The doctor suggested some medical tests for you." She said with a faded smile.
My head was about to fall off my body. I suddenly memorized some symptoms of asthma and the next minute I told everything to her. She widened her eyes and said- "Why didn't you visit the doctor? You should definitely do these medical tests. In some cases, panic attacks can cause asthma."
"Actually, I never told about this to my only person- my grandfather. Because he is very old and he has some problems with his heart. So I didn't want to tense him. But now that you suggested I will try. I don't want ojiisan to worry more after telling him about my condition later." I said as she sighed and sat beside me.
"I am so sorry, Kyoko." She said. I smiled at her in reply.
I rolled my eyes at the photo frame on the table. It was of Ms. Ikari and a newborn baby girl.
"Who is the baby, sensei? She looks like you." I asked her and instantly regretted it.
"I-it's my daughter. My daughter was taken away from me by my evil father. I broke all the connections and departed from him forever." She sighed before splitting out all those words with tears in her eyes.
"I-I am very sorry for making you sad again, sensei." I apologized for the broken heart.
Suddenly she looked at me and cupped my left cheek with her palm and shifted her gaze onto all over my face.
"I-I don't know why. But all these years I have been teaching so many students. You are the only one who reminds me... a lot about my own daughter." She said with her glowing eyes. Her words hit my heart and I went into some massive thoughts.
