Chapter 3- The First Assignment, The First Step

I looked at my tiffin box which was filled with rice cakes and rice balls. It looked delicious.

Fumiko said- "Oh, you guys are going to buy lunch today too."

Hiroshi said- "Yeah, my mom was busy with her office work. Taiga and Kanzaki, are you both coming?"

Taiga nodded and said- "Yes, I am coming. But not tomorrow. Because dad said he would prepare something special for me."

Hiroshi rested his arm on Kanzaki's shoulder and smirked- "Alright, you are going to share that."

Taiga shrugged and we all laughed. Then slowly one by one they left for the canteen.

I watched them going. I looked at Aoi and Fumiko who were eating with me and asked- "Hiroshi and Taiga have their reasons. What about Kanzaki?"

They looked at each other and Aoi replied- "Actually, Kanzaki doesn't have a mother. He had a father...but he abandoned him."

Right at that time, I became speechless. I felt very bad for Kanzaki. Because I have also been through this kind of situation. I could feel how much Kanzaki had his heart broken. I looked at my empty tiffin box and suddenly I got an idea. I thought at once that it wouldn't be so bad to make lunch for Kanzaki for the next day. Just call it needs Kanzaki to like the taste. I was very confused if Kanzaki didn't like that. But still, I wanted to help him.

*After the end of school hours*

Aoi and I were in the club. We both were in our ballet costumes. She clapped twice and held the railings. I did the same. We both made the five positions of ballet.

She looked at me and said- "I am trying Develope steps."

She did what she said. I was very amazed at her fluency. She smiled and asked- "Your turn."

I answered- "May I try Pirouette?"

As she nodded I tried that. I stood on my toes and moved around on my five toes. Aoi watched me and applauded loudly.

She said- "Oh my god, it seems like you are very experienced."

I replied to her- "It's not like that. I didn't use to get an appropriate time for my practice ago. But now I can I guess."

She smiled and nodded. We tried different steps for ballet. After some time we ended our practice.

Aoi said- "Girl, you are awesome!" with a thumbs up.

I said- "You too."

Then we both got ready to head back home. After coming out of the club we spotted Hiroshi and Kanzaki talking with each other. So we approached them. As we went near them,

Hiroshi pointed his finger at us and laughed- "Hey ladies!"

Aoi rolled her eyes and said- "Stop your nonsense. We were here to practice."

Hiroshi aired his cheeks and looked at me- "Hey, Kyoko, how was the practice?"

I smiled and said- "It was great. By the way, where are Fumiko and Taiga?"

Kanzaki said- "They already left because they had homework to finish together."

I nodded. Aoi said- "Should we go now?"
