Kyoko's POV-

I felt like I was dropped from the sky listening to his words. I never expected him to be already in love. The shock hit my heart and it started to ache. I tried to calm my nerves down as I was walking down the street with him. He seemed to notice me and asked me if I was all right. I faked a smile and he made his attention back to the way.

No. This is just a dream. My feelings can't be worthless.

I kept on screaming those in my mind. A few minutes later, we entered the clinic.

Kanzaki's POV-

As we entered the clinic, the nurse told us to wait. Both of us took the waiting seats. I looked at Kyoko's face. Her face was completely pale. I was too concerned.

"Don't worry, whatever the report is, I know you can deal with it." I tried to comfort her.

"Y-yeah." She responded. But I could feel the disappointment in her tone.

Before I could say something else, the nurse called both of us to go inside the chamber. We did so and my heart kept throbbing. Yes, I was also a little nervous about how her report would be. After a few minutes, the doctor came in front of us with a few blue binders. He searched among those until he selected one and spelled her name. She hummed. The very next minute the doctor finally declared the report. The room filled with silence as he said. My nervousness and thoughts weren't totally groundless. What I thought turned out to be the truth. I couldn't believe my ears and took the file and read what was written on it. It was clearly written that- 'Report is positive with Asthma'. As I read the words I sneaked a glance a Kyoko. She was in utter disbelief and hopeless. I put the file back on the table and took my seat.

"Well, you are allergic to neither any kind of food nor dust. Your Asthma is completely non-atopic. Maintain your nutrition and all the meds and your report may show some better results. Best of luck, Ms. Anekawa." The doctor said and we both thanked him and made our way outside the chamber, outside the clinic.

Kyoko waited outside as I bought all the meds for her. I crossed the road back and approached her with a numb face. I didn't know how to respond. I looked at her face. Her eyes widened with tears in the corners. I grabbed both of the hands and held them in between her chest and my waist. I rubbed the back of her hand with my thumbs to make her comfortable.

"Don't be so gloomy, Kyoko. The doctor said you would recover soon. I am with you." I looked at her gloomy eyes which started glowing. She wiped her tears and nodded with a short smile.

I turned on the road and she did so too. It was a dark evening of winter. As we started walking the silence hit us. I felt a little awkward. To ease the silence, I grabbed her hand. I held her hand tightly. It made both of us look at each other. As I looked at her face, she did the same. I looked at her intense yellow eyes. Those started glowing in the reflection of the street lights. It drew me further than this land. It started reminding me of my old days with Yoshiko.

*Kanzaki's Thoughts*

It wasn't Kanzaki's first day after all. But he was always busy with his studies in the library and the musical notes in the music club. The day Kanzaki was thinking about was none other than the day of his first meeting with somebody special in his life.

It was the lunch break and Kanzaki was on the rooftop with his harp. He was playing the most romantic music filled with emotions. He was just in the middle of the music when his eyes rolled towards the shade lines of the roof. He noticed a beautiful girl who was dancing to the rhythm of the harp music. She was some kind of ballerina. Her unleashed orange hair was not any less than the pure sunset. Her steps were so fluent that those were probably the best match with the harp music. While dancing, she made the best Pique Turn ever. She leaped over the highest peak of the shade. Just as the music finished, she tried to balance her body, but unfortunately, her toes slipped.
