Leo walked down Rockstar Row glancing at everything around the place. Freddy's curtains were closed as always, Bonnie looked like he was tuning his guitar while Foxy simply swung his sword around singing a shanty. Leo smiled when he did so, but noticed that Chica wasn't playing her guitar like she usually did.
They were all adjusting to recent upgrades the company gave them.
Freddy was given a stomach hatch to hold oversized birthday cakes and pinatas.
Chica was given a new voice box, but was prohibited from singing because it caused the S.T.A.F.F. bots to go haywire. Which saddened her, because she really loved to sing.
Bonnie was given springs in his legs which consequently made him jump much higher. As if he needed to in the first place.
Foxy was given a new hand to better hold his cutlass and play the accordion, but like Chica, this had a side effect. Whenever he would touch a S.T.A.F.F. bot or anything with an electrical lock, he would start draining power from them. This had the added effect of replenishing his own battery, but he was getting swamped with technicians complaining about it.
Leo received an upgrade of his own. In the form of his new eyes. They were linked to every sensor in the Pizzaplex so he could see everything everywhere. Including through walls. They were given to him so he could be more precise with working on endoskeletons and his fellow animatronics when they needed a tune up. He had put in the request himself and he was glad he did. Added benefits or no.
Speaking of.
He activated his eyes and looked for a missing chicken who wasn't in her green room. He didn't need to look for long, because he had a pretty good idea of where she was.
After only a few minutes of searching, he found her in the kitchen. Which was not surprising to him at all. He started heading her way and he entered the Atrium area of the Pizzaplex. This was where the guests would enter and get ready to enjoy their day at the Pizzaplex. The main eye catcher was the massive golden Freddy statue in the center of the Atrium doing Freddy's signature pose. Leo chuckled at the thing.
He really felt like the old man of the group sometimes.
Unlike his band mates, Leo was one of a kind in terms of design. He had five fingers on each hand instead of four, and his feet, while still comically big had four toes instead of three. A reminder that he used to be a Springlock animatronic ninety years ago.
But when he read the report on him, he discovered that the technician team wanted to retain his old appearance as much as they could, but with his endoskeleton rusted to hell, not only did they retrofit him with the latest tech, they literally had to rebuild his endo from the ground up.
Of course, that wasn't easy. Or cheap.
"Technician's report: Glamrock Leo.
I honestly don't know why Management wants to rebuild this old rusty endoskeleton when we could easily make a new one. The design is old, and they don't make parts for it anymore! But hey, they pay the bills. The only part of this guy we could salvage is the head, as it wasn't completely rusted over, but the rest of it? Forget it!
So we spent weeks rebuilding the endoskeleton to match the original design, but literally no one makes these parts anymore. They had to be custom made by some place, Afton Robotics LLC or something. Doesn't really matter, the company declared Chapter 11 last year. But holy shit was getting the parts made expensive! And looking at the quality of the parts, I can see why.
