Chapter 28: We Let You Live (NOT EDITED)
Harry's POV

"Jennifer.." I breath out her name as I see her walking towards us. Step by step, growling she walked towards us. Her eyes purple, filled with rage.

"How is this possible!?" Xavier exclaims. "Was this some kind of a trick!?" He hisses looking at me. He snatches the Crystal from my hand before I could say anything. "You will pay for this, kid!" He hisses again.

"I - I didn't know" I stammer, my eyes not leaving the beautiful wolf in front of me.
She looks at me and stops. Her eyes soften and she stops growling.
We stare at each other, looking deep into each other's eyes. Xavier kicks me on my knee and pulls me out of the trance. "You're trying to tell me you didn't know your mate was a Golden Wolf!?" He yells and a loud growl follows next.

It was Jennifer, she was now staring at Xavier, furious and ready to kill. She stretched out her left paw and bend her head down slowly.
"Oh, so you're going to kill me? Or let's say, you're going to try to kill me? Poor Jenny, don't you know? I am the most powerful now that I have this crystal with me? Even your little Alpha couldn't defeat me." He says shaking the Crystal in his hand. How I wish I could just get up and snap his neck in two. But for some reason I felt less powerful here.. The aura around made me feel weak.

Jennifer growls in response..

"Huh? What was that? A growl? Haha! You think you can scare me with a growl, little girl?" He pauses..
"You know.. I was the one who actually killed your mother. How do you feel about that?"

Jennifer growls again.

"I killed my son, your friend. He really liked you, you know." He laughs hysterically. "And guess what? I don't regret any of it. My son was a fucking traitor. He deserved to die!" He takes a step toward me, "Your whore of a mother, deserved whatever I did to her!" Another growl from Jennifer made me laugh more, "And this little guy here, the oh so powerful Alpha.. Will die too!" He kicks me once more "Right in front of you. Just like I promised"

"I think you've forgotten that Golden wolves can talk too, Xavier." Both our heads turn to the majestic wolf standing right in front of us. Of course, how could I forget.. Golden wolves can talk even when they shift. She looks at me then back at Xavier. "And trust me when I say this, I will kill you.. And I will make you watch your own death." She threatens him.

"And how will you do that, huh?" Xavier replies to her.

"You're really underestimating my powers, Alpha. Not what a wise person would do." She states calmly. "Let my mate go, give the crystal back to him.. And you live."

"Ha! Never! You don't try to threaten me, girl.. I am one of the oldest Alpha alive! I can take you both down in a minute!" I got up and laughed at his statement. Yeah he sure is the oldest Alpha alive, but not the strongest.

"I don't think she's only threatening you, Xavier. Give us the damn Crystal and we let you live." I smirk at him.
