Harry’s POV

“Call everyone out, we’re having a pack meeting right now. I want Nora here in my office in ten seconds.” I say and storm into my office. I can’t believe how insane my mate is, and because of the block in her mind I can’t even read her thoughts, which is making me more frustrated by every second. How can she not tell me all this? I trusted her. I trusted her with my life. She didn’t only put my position as Alpha into danger but also her life. Lord knows what that bastard has done to her. I swear to God, if I find a single scratch on her body, I’m going to kill him.

Well, I’m going to kill him anyway.

“Alpha, Sir.” Nora enters my office along with Alec and the rest.

“Nora, I want you to go after Mr. Stone, find him and bring him to me. I give you three hours, you may now leave.” I say using my Alpha tone. She looks a bit taken back by the seriousness in my tone.

“Jennifer's fath-“ before she could complete her sentence I growl, “HE IS NOT HER FATHER!” all of them look startled at my sudden outburst. Nora nods lightly reading my thoughts, suddenly a look of anger appears on her face and she leaves the office with a growl. “Sam and Jordon, go with her.” I order and both of the boys follow her out.

“Alpha, what exactly has happened?” Alec asks taking a cautious step forward.

“They’ve taken Jennifer and the Black Crystal.” I say rubbing my face with both my hands trying to calm myself down but miserably failing.

“They have the Crystal?!”  Alec almost whisper- yells.

“Yes and your Luna!” I snap at him.

“But how? The Crystal was safe under the passage that- wait a minute.” Alec says and then looks up to glare at me before he continues. “you gave it to her, didn’t you?” he raises his finger pointing at me accusingly.

“Yes I did.” I admit. Number of Oh’s and Ah’s erupt from the room as those words escape my mouth.

“YOU WHAT!?” Alec raises his voice at me.

“KEEP YOUR GODDAMN VOICE DOWN!” I growl back. His body whimpers under the echo of my sound. I’m an Alpha and I can’t take this kind of an behaviour from anyone but my mate.

“I’ve called this meeting for a reason and all of you will hear with your ears open. Your Luna and the Black Crystal is in danger. The RedWoods are not going to get away from this and I want all of you be ready for any kind of circumstances that we might have to face. I am 75% sure there is going to be a war soon, and I want my pack’s best planners to come up with a great strategy plan but the end of midnight.

James, come forward.”

“I want you to go send The RedWoods a message, asking them to return both our Luna and the Crystal.”

“Yes, Alpha. I’m on it.” He turns on his heels quickly and walks out of the room.

“Alec, you will start training the rest right now and I will see what I have to do next. Come on, move, now.” All of them nod and make their way out of them room except one. “What is it, Alec?” I ask releasing a frustrated sigh.

“I wanted to say thank you for belittling me in front of the whole goddamn pack.” He spits and turns around to leave the room.

“Ale-“ before I could complete he walks out and slams the door behind him.

“Goddamn it!” i let out another growl under my breath.

After what it felt like ages sitting in my office trying to find something in The Treaty Book against The RedWoods I hear a knocking on my office door.

“Come in.” I say and Nora comes inside almost breaking the door. She looks scared and like she had been crying. “Nora? Are you alright?” I ask patting her back to calm her down. She huffs and puffs not being able to breathe. “Relax, shh.. tell me what happened.”

“Mrs. Stone is dead.” She says through cracked voice.

“What? How!?”

“That bastard was a RedWood. He- He sacrificed his mate.” She says and breaks down. I look at her tear stained face one last time before running out of the office.

I need to do something quick. My mate is not safe and I won’t have it that way.
