Chapter 5: I Want You To Shut Up.

Chapter 5: I Want You To Shut Up.

“Okay so werewolves can actually hear and smell from miles away?”

“Yes.”

“That’s pretty cool.” I think. “And, um, we’re mates?”

“Yes and we are going to live forever together.” He says with a smile.

“But a hardly know you and I don’t want to spend the rest of my life with a werewolf!” I exclaim.

“Don’t ever say that again!” he growls and I shut up not wanting him to go all wolf-crap crazy on me. I’ve been in this office for about two hours now. Harry has filled me in with everything possible he can remember about werewolf history or whatever. I didn’t bother listening to him as I was busy looking out of the window admiring nature. He has told me stuff about being mates. Basically, mates are two people, duh. Who are supposed to live together for eternity or that’s what I think. He says mate pull is something that makes the two fall in love. A werewolf’s first instinct is to always protect his/her mate. They are over protective, over possessive and over horny.

He says he has been controlling his horny hormones since the time he saw me. Only Alphas can control their horniness. Hence, the lick and the animal hand print on my butt. He says I’m a rare case because both of my parents are werewolves and I’m not. There has to be something that I am but are no signs of me being anything but human yet, so I’m pretty happy about it. Also he has warned me to stay away from RedWoods.

Who are RedWoods?

The RedWoods are BlackCrystal's neighbouring pack. Harry says they are the bad ones. BlackCrytals possess a crystal that is black. Well the world aka the werewolf world thinks it’s black but actually the crystal is filled with some kind of a black liquid. It is said ‘one who drinks xchomel lives for eternity.” Xchomel : the black liquid inside the crystal. The BlackCrystals have been protecting this black liquid filled crystal since forever, hence the name BlackCrystal pack. The RedWood’s Alpha has been constantly trying to steal the crystal from the BlackCrystals so that he could live for eternity and be the strongest man on this planet. Harry also told me that he lost his father in a war with the RedWoods. Apparently, Harry’s father killed the Alpha’s mate and then the Alpha killed him. Since then every year on the RedWood’s Alpha’s mate’s death day one chosen member has to sacrifice his/her mate. It’s their decision whether the girl or the boy dies. The Alpha’s son, Noah, too had to sacrifice his mate. Which is pretty sad, I think.  Alpha Xavier, the RedWood’s Alpha has become a crack head since the death of his mate.

As I was about to ask more about this stupid crystal they are fighting for, Alec bursts into the room, “Two RedWoods spotted trying to cross the border.” He says in one breath.

I see Harry getting tensed and his eyebrows pull together, he starts fuming with anger, “Those bastards never learn!” he growls and I flinch.

“Well, they somehow know you have a mate now.” Alec says looking at me. Harry gets out of his seat grabs me by my hand and pulls me close to him. Then he snakes his hand around my waist pulling me much closer and holding me tighter than he was.

“Kill them” he says not moving his eyes from Alec.  “Now!” he finishes. What!? Kill them? He can’t just kill someone like that! Alec merely nods before turning around. He makes his way towards the door and I stop him, “NO!” I scream and he turns around giving me a confused plus irritated look.
