Before me was the embodiment of my anger. I look in the mirror as fiction and reality sway. My face was red, my hazel eyes wet, my hair a mess, my stomach bulging, and a fire in my eye. I get closer to the mirror and scream. As I scream my reflection's hand reaches out and grabs me...
I wake up in a dark room as someone lights a match and throws it into a large fireplace. A line of fire moves towards me like a serpent and circles my feet. Ablaze of flame enveloped me and what was left was me in dark clothes, a black crown, and ruby jewelry. I began to walk around and with a push of my hands a door flew open.
I walked forward down a long dark corridor. As I passed, torches lit ablaze. I moved with vigor and vim. I knew I was myself, but I wasn't. My mind buzzes with emotions of anger, sadness, love, compassion, fear, and all the many feelings. With a wave of my hand a cloud of black and red flowed and when it dissolves a black staff with a glowing red stone. I continued to march till I reached a giant stone door with glowing pulses of light. With a shove the doors were thrown open. In a burst of shadow I soared to the throne.
The throne was made of royal purple marble and had rubies and emeralds encrusted into it in the design of a heart in green fire. I sat upon the cold stone, heating up the stone beneath me. My thoughts wandered, as I processed what just happened. One moment I was at a door with a fairy, next I became some dark king ruling the realm of dreams.
I am honestly so confused on how this happened. Suddenly a memory burst into my mind. A spirit of  red light floated in front of me. In a high pitch voice she squeaked, "I am rage! I am violence! I am the dishonor pushed on you!"
"Huh?"
"Don't you recognize me silly? I am your anger!" With a spiral an androgenous being appeared in a red suit and a long glittering cape. They seemed to have male and female features. "I am what courses through your veins when family and friends make you feel small. I am the emotion that makes your blood boil! Me and revenge."
A blue spirit whooshed into existence as anger spoke of them. Blue had a similar look but a deep voice, "I was summoned." He rumbled, "Who are we getting revenge on? I am so in!"
With a great blat of energy they rushed through me. Suddenly I was back in the throne. My hands glowing Blue, red, purple, and gold. With a roar I yell, "Show yourselves!" I raise my fists and slam them down. A blast of energy comes from me revealing four fae. Each fairy had a color. Red and blue as seen in my memory. Purple was thick and muscular and war a royal purple tunic with interestingly shaped wings. Gold was tall and slender wearing a dress of falling gold. "I know those two but who are you?" I point.
"Why we are Ambition and Chaos!" They spoke in unison. "The four of us give you the powers that you crave."
"I highly doubt that!" I wave my hands and nothing happens, "What is going on?"
In unison the four spoke with evil grins, "You are nothing with out us. You have no power here."
A familiar lavender scent filled the room as purple sparkles froze them in place. I boisterous laughter echoed off the walls and in a burst of purple was Sandrianna. "Don't be ridiculous honey!" She points her wand at me, "You know damn well that isn't true. Pardon my language. But don't be idiotic. They feed off of you. YOU are what gives Them power. Don't forget that. People can't MAKE you angry, or make you HAVE to get revenge. These are emotions and actions determined by you. Ambition is good, but blind ambition is not. Chaos is fun and spices up life, to much Chaos forces one to lose control."
"This is wisdom is nice, but what am I supposed to do with it."
"Apply it, learn from it, grow from it. Let wisdom nourish you." With a wave of her wand she was gone again and the beings were unfrozen.
In unison the three being spoke, "We are your power! All you have to do is accept us."
"Let me think on it"
"Of course, your majesty."
Once they had left I began to ponder. "Am I made by my problems, or are the problems made by me? What am I without my fear? What am I with out my chaos? What does it look like to be normal? To be happy and free? Here I am royalty. Here I am all I could ever be. On this road that we call life. On this road full of strife. My heart has been stabbed a million times, and yet I am still here trying to love. What is to come of me? What will set me free? Is it a life of darkness, or maybe the life of light. I just can't win, I can't win the fight."
I began to walk around the hall looking at old decaying pictures, "There are so many things I want to do, there are so many places i want to be. I feel lost in insanity. I was guided here this day. I have been summoned home, but do I even want to go? I felt so lost, and so afraid. I felt alone so many days. I was lost in a sea, a sea of unpredictability. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't see, I couldn't feel the world around me. The earth seemed dull and color dim. The voices in my head my only friends. I felt unseen, I felt so lost, I felt so weak, like I was living through a screen. From this point on, I do declare, hear me one and hear me all! From this moment on I will live as I please. With confidence and vigor. So says I."
With a blast of energy that shot from me that felt like fuzzy pins through my body. With a flash there was a door before me. It was a large oak door that had been stained with a lovely cherry color. There were vines around the frame with beautiful multi colored roses. I walked around the door there was nothing. Just a door.
I went to touch the knob on the door and the entire door burst into millions of colorful butterflies. What was left was an arch, and through it a lush meadow with a stream and a small pond. The smell of pine and forest filled my nose. A slight breeze brushed my skin as the sun kept me warm giving me the shivers. I heard birds singing, fairies popping in and out, as well as sounds of squirls and other wild life. A huge stag sauntered up to me with big antlers, light blue fur with gold and green spirals sprawled across it. He was what looked to be eight or nine feet tall with his antlers. He had large black eyes that looked as if they had stars in them.
The creature nudged me towards the pond ever so gently. Music played sweetly through the trees. I looked into the waters as it swirled to life and out came a beautiful woman. Her hair blue as the ocean fading into blue as the sky. She had bright green eyes. Atop her head was a crown made of water lilies. She wore a dress of rushing water that followed her form perfectly. She was of thicker build and pale white skin.
The woman spoke softly but swiftly with the bubbling of a creek in her voice, "Hello my dear Ezekial, Son of fire and water. It has been over two decades since last we spoke. You were to be born again that day."
"Wait, I know you?"
"Of course silly!" She giggled which sounded like a babbling brook, "I have known you for milenia. Do you not remember me?"
"I'm sorry, I don't. But you do seem oddly familiar."
"Yay! We always did joke about meeting for the first time again!" She kept giggling as she danced and splashed on the water. She grabbed my hand and shook it vigorously, and poses elegantly, "I have many names, most call me the lady of the lake, but you have always called me Zhazwelline. I always loved that name, but you would never tell me where you got it."
"I wish I could tell you! Ok, I have two questions. First, Where am I? And Second, Why does everyone keep calling me Ezekial? I have a memory of hating him for stealing something from me."
Zhazwelline giggled, "You really have no idea how special you are?" She grabs my hand and pulls me into the water, "Stand on it, let the water balance you and stand on it."
"I can't" I start to panic.
"You must believe in yourself." Water began to bubble around her as she raise her hands and a larger version of herself envelops her. "When you believe, anything is possible." She lifts me up in hands made of water. She moved her arms and the waterchanged shape and dragged me back to the ground as she came down on a spiral of water. "Open your eyes and see!" She grabs my face and my head throws back as I see myself standing among fire and water. I hear a deep voice speak, as if crackling fire, "A boy once broken a man becomes. Spread your wings and fly. Live your life and stop running. Burn, burn for who you are." and with a rush I was back. "You saw him didn't you."
"Why did he look like me?"
"Because my sweet boy! He is you, you are him. His fire burns inside of you." She knelt in front of me on the water and touched it. The surface rippled and an image came into view. Of a woman with long brown hair laying in a baby pool in a house. I looked closer and noticed that it was my mother, and she was giving birth to me. I watched as it happened and saw the silver halo on the crown of baby me's head. As I went to look closer Zhazwelline tapped the water and the image changed. What was there was me on the changing table my physical body as a baby. But then there was a strange light in the shape of a baby with wings. The light was gold, then, blue, then purple, red, white, grey, and so on. It kept changing. The shape of the light would change and flow and sometimes turn into a bird. I was so focused I got startled when Zhazwelline spoke, "Beautiful isn't it?"
"What is it?"
"Why it is your essence, or your Aura if you will. You have a powerful one. Now, something to remember is there are always stronger spirits, just as there are weaker ones. But each of them are unique. I tell you this not to make you feel bad, But to humble you."She took the tip of her finger and slid it across the water. What was seen was me going through my life, but with the essence in view. Moments with it brighter, and moments with the spirit dim.
"Why is it I have always been able to see the different planes of existence."
"Honestly, I am not sure. Your spirit has always been very special. We all have gifts and yours was to see the world in a different way." She splashed the image away and stood up, "Now, come with me." She grabbed my hand and gently walked me on to the water.
To my surprise I was standing on water. "How is this happening?"
"Magic, my dear. Now follow your heart and do what needs to be done."
I lifted my hands and the water moved. Slowly I began to dance, I moved as the water moved and let my body ripple. Zhazwelline watched and began to dance with me. The stag began to dance as well. As we moved and swayed orbs of water began to float and change colors, slowly they moved together and formed the shape of an arech with a curtain of flowing water.
Zhazwelline spoke one more time, "Choose your fate my love. Be strong and have courage."
I nodded to everyone and walked through the curtain...
Before me was a dark room with a huge fireplace made of black marble. The room was nicely decorated. With deep purple chairs, a table with an Iced Chai on it, I could tell from the lovely scent. As I walked forward a flame exploded from the fireplace and there stood a man in a lovely red suit, longer curly hair tied into a messy bun, black loafers, black tie, and a crisp white shirt. His hair was the color of fire in bright oranges, reds, and yellow. He gestured at a fluffy old fashioned chair, I sat and he bagan to speak in a comforting voice that sounded like a crackling fire. "Hello sweet boy." There was almost a rumbling to his voice, "It has been a long time, I am sorry."
"So I am guessing I know you to then?"
"Why of course! We are kin!" His voice roared, "Ashuzhan, we fought many battles together but there is someone who wants to speak to you more."
The firepit sprang back to life and the most beautiful woman stood before me. She wore a beautiful A Haku Lei with red and orange flowers. She had a grass skirt made of flowing fire. Her eyes were a deep brown and her hair thick and full. Her skin was smooth and the color of dark sand. Shes miled at me as I just stared.
"Are you Pele? Goddess of fire?"
"Aloha Ku'uipo." She came up to me and hugged me, "It has been to long E ku'u aloha." I just sat there, being hugged by the Hawaiian goddess of fire. She pulled away and handed me a letter. "Read this Keiki, Let it clear some things up."
I opened the paper and read it aloud,
"Dear Romeo, Spirit of Ezekial,
We have much to say and much to do. But for you we have this. There is balance in all things, fire and water, light and dark, Sun and moon. As this is in nature, it is in us too. You have lived your entire life as a contradiction to yourself. You are a two sided coin, and as a coin,  there is much value in you.
You are currently in acoma, laying on a hospital bed as your family cries around you. We can't force you to go back to life, but we can encourage you. Your life is not over, it may seem worth not living anymore but it is not. You have a mission to accomplish, but it is your choice to do it. Life has been hard and we know you don't feel strong enough, but you are.
Keep going, find your strengths and be true to who you are. We love you.
Love,
    Us."
"Pele who is this letter from?"
"This a letter from your past, present, and future self. But also has some wisdom from your ancestors as well."
"So I am in a coma?"
"Yes keiki, you have been for some time now." She pointed to the wall and a fiery door appeared with stars on the otherside. "Now it is time for you to decide if you wish to stay or pass over."
"A boy once broken a man becomes. Spread your wings and fly. Live your life and stop running. Burn you fool, burn for who you are."I repeated this statement over and over again as my body starts glowing. Huge fiery wings spread from my back and light shrouds my body. I hug Pele, "I think I know the choice to make." I began to walk forward and passed through the door.
