When She Runs

Chapter 2

Their jaws dropped when they saw my house. I looked around and saw that the maids and butler had just gotten here. I noticed that they had brought food, and I couldn't be more happy. They noticed me and waved. I guess they thought I wouldn't be at my new school for long. Their smiles got bigger when the notice I had people with me. They went inside to get the kitchen and some food ready.

"Well this is my house." I told them. They stayed silence and stared at me with wide eyes and jaws still dropped. They were silent for another minute until Pete said something.

"House? This is more like a mansion. How rich are you?" He said.

 I looked down but not before I saw Jack and Aiden hit him upside the head. Jenny started laughing but I was wondering if they were gonna like me for me or my money. I was to busy thinking that I didn't notice someone in front of me. When I looked at the person who was in front of me, I noticed that it was Jack.

"Don't worry about what Pete said. And if you are wondering we like you for you and not your money." Jack said. I smiled for that and then Jack took me in for a hug and started laughing. That's when everybody started laughing. "I saw people go into your house. Who are they?" Jack asked.

"Oh they are our butler and maids. Why" I asked.

"Well if you have maids why do you need to unpack can't they do it for you?" Pete asked. Now it was Jenny's turned to hit him upside the head.

"I want to unpack because it gives me something to do and not be bored. Got a problem with that?" I asked coldly. I didn't like being judged about having maids and not being capable of doing stuff on my own.

"Hey calm down I was just asking." Pete said "Didn't think you would be bored here you have everything." he said.

"Yeah right." I said. I started walking up the steps to my house. I turned around and said "Well are you coming or not I've got a lot of boxes, and I do need some help they are really heavy." When I turned back around I heard footsteps right behind me and smiled. When we got in to my house Jenny gave me a high-five.

I went into the kitchen and noticed that our cook John was there and started making food and lots of it. "Hey John. What's all this food for?" I asked.

"Oh Mary told me you had friends come and help you unpack so I thought I'd make you guys some food. I also know that you didn't eat breakfast." John explained looking at me. Worry filled his eyes.

"Oh okay well we'll be up in my room and don't worry I'm fine" I told him and started walking up the stairs with the other behind me. We was near my room when Sarah came out of one of the guest rooms. "Oh hey Sarah." I said.

"Hey Rayne, didn't stay at school did you?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"Nope had do get my room ready and got new friends who said they would help me unpack" I told her.

"Oh okay. Hey do you know if your parents are back yet?" she asked. I rolled my eyes.

"Nope don't know don't care." I told her.

 I didn't look at her expression I just opened my bedroom door and went in. The other followed behind looking confused at what I had said.

 "Okay look my parents are to busy with their work to have time for me. They are hardly ever here so that's why I don't care got it?" I explained to them.

 They understood now and nodded their heads. We started unpacking all my stuff and about 3 hours later we got everything set up. I was having a good time, John had called us down to say lunch was ready. It was about four when Aiden said they had to leave so he could get his car. I walked them to the door and thanked them for helping out. I walked up to my room to have a nap. An hour later when I couldn't get some sleep I went to my bathroom, and grabbed my sleeping pills. I took some and about five minutes later I was sound asleep not having any nightmares until they came. The memories of that night came back.

~Flashback~

I was walking back from a party at my friends house when all of a sudden my ex boyfriend and his 'gang' came and jumped me. His 'gang' started beating me until I was about to die. 

My ex came out of the shadows and whispered in my "So you think you can get away from me that easily? Think again baby doll. I'm going to make you regret breaking up with me."

That's when he started beating me even more. I saw him pull out a knife and stab my leg over and over again. Then that's when he started undressing him and me. I hadn't notice that his friends had left. When I looked back at him he had an evil look in his eyes. That's when I noticed he had put  himself inside me. He was raping me and wouldn't stop. While I was begging him to stop and when that didn't work I started screaming.

I didn't notice that someone was shaking me trying to get me to wake up. When I opened my eyes I saw Noah, Mary, Sarah, Erin, and John standing over my bed with worry all over their faces.

"Did you you take your sleeping pills?" Mary asked. I couldn't speak so I just nodded my head.

"Did you remember that night again?" Noah asked. That's when I broke down and started crying. I haven't cried since that night.
