When She Runs

Chapter 21

After that phone call with Darkin and the brick being thrown through my window, Heath and Ryker wasn't taking any chances of me being alone, even though I didn't want to be alone at the moment. I guess Ryker's earlier comment about me not needing help is moot. I'm really scared this time, I don't know how much longer I can go running from Darkin. I don't think I can run from him any longer. When I was lost in my thoughts, Ryker had grabbed my hand and pulled me behind him towards the master bedroom. Ryker and Heath enter my room and make sure that there isn't any bugs or camera's in the room before they let me enter. 

Heath had stepped out of my room with a Ziploc bag that I didn't even know he had grabbed. "Alright little sister it's safe for you to go in now. I'm going to call some of the boys and tell them what had happened. Ryker will be in there with you, so you don't have anything to worry about. I promise." Heath explained to me.

"Okay, but Heath what's in the bag?" I asked him, afraid to know the answer to that.

"I'm sorry Ray. I should have double checked everywhere including your room." Heath said with a resigned sigh.

"You mean that bastard actually placed bugs in my bedroom? How the hell did he even get into my house?" I yelled scared out of my mind.

Ryker came out of my room when he heard me yelled. "Rayne look at me." he told me.

When I didn't he grabbed my chin and turned my head to look up at him. "Stupid giant." I mumbled underneath my breath.

"What did you say?" Ryker asked me.

"Nothing." I said a little to quickly, for his liking.

"Right. Anyways Rayne don't worry about him. He won't get you."  Ryker told me.

"But how do you know Ryker?" I asked him in a small voice.

"Because we won't let him, now go pack your bags so we can get out of here and to the clubhouse." 

While packing my bags I overheard Heath and Ryker talking, "Damn prez aint never known you to be sweet to anyone including a stranger you just met."

"Why don't you shut up for once Viper. I'm only helping the girl for you, I see how much you care for her and besides helping this chick, I can find out which prospects to kill for betraying me." Ryker said in a cold voice. That was the first time I heard Heath's club name. Viper. The name fits Heath. 

That was the last thing I heard because they started to walk back towards the living room. I finished packing the rest of my clothes and headed towards the living where I saw more of the bikers I met at the gas station. There was Dynamite, Heath told me it was because he could get C4 and loved blowing things up. Beside Dynamite was Hacker, he was known for hacking his way through anything and not leaving a trace, again information was given to me by Heath. So when Heath said that his best hacker couldn't find anything on me, Heath must have meant Hacker. 

Heath's name in the MC is Viper, don't know how he got that name. I couldn't help that my mind drifted over to Ryker. I wonder if that's his actually name or just a really boring club name. I looked over at Ryker and familiarize myself with how he looks, seeing as how till Darkin was found I would be at the clubhouse. Ryker was six foot two, tattoos on his arms from what I can see, he had dark brown hair sort of like a buzz cut hairstyle, have to admit not many guys can pull that hairstyle off unless they're in the army, but it looks good on him makes him look more scary and intimidating. He has strong facial features, strong jaw bone, high cheekbones, scorching green eyes, Ryker's nose was sort of crooked guess it had been broken recently. 

I was so into my own thought that I noticed that the guys had noticed that I was in the living room watching them. I felt my face beginning to blush. Dynamite walked up to me and gave me a hug, when he was through hugging me, he stood beside me and wrapped his left arm around my waist. Ryker and Heath was glaring at Dynamite arm around me. I understood why Heath was glaring at Dynamite because Heath saw me as his little sister. But I don't understand why Ryker was glaring at Dynamite, because according to Ryker I was just a way to find out who had betrayed him.
