Present Day
Character POV: Ariadne

He knows thirteen different languages, and just about anything else you would ever think of. He picked the name Zebulun after a kind Jewish man he met in England shortly after he turned. The man gave him books and tutored him in English and anything else he had to offer. The man's name was also Zebulun. He stuck with that name going forward, his gratitude never fading. And right now, I am grateful for that kind of loyalty that Zebulun expresses every day in every action. At least, if this all blow up in my face, I know someone will still have my back.
