The avengers were sitting in the control room watching the news. Tony was speaking in Time Square. He looked tired and depressed. Morgan and Pepper stood behind him."I'm sad to announce that Stark Industries is closing their doors after more than 60 years, due to bankruptcy," Tony said, his eyes glistened over.

Once he stepped down from the microphone waves of reporters piled in. "What are you going to do now that you have no income?" "Are you closing because the government is making you?" "How do you feel about ending your father's legacy?" Tony rushed through the reporters ignoring all of them. Him and his family climbed into the black limo and drove off. Back at headquarters everyone was silent. Without Stark industries Tony could lose his money and house, not to mention the avengers who depend a lot on Stark Industries. "What are we going to do?" Steve asked doubtfully. Everyone bent their heads. Nick answered, sighing. "I don't know."

Peter was completely still. He was sitting on top of one of the buildings around Time Square listening to Tony speak. He knew that it would come to this deep down inside but he didn't expect it to be so soon.

He swung back home in Brooklyn which only took about twenty minutes since he didn't have to wait in traffic. Once there he climbed through the window, and fell on his bed. Peter heard a gentle knock on his door, he looked over and saw Aunt May standing in the doorway.

"I saw on the news about Stark Industries," she said quietly, "I'm so sorry ,Peter. Is there anything I can do?" He knew she was trying to help but nothing would help right now. Peter rolled over to the opposite side of May, ignoring her.

She breathed deeply and spoke, "Ok I'll bring up your dinner." Peter opened his mouth to say he wasn't hungry but stopped. He wanted Aunt May to feel like he was helping even though he wasn't going to eat.

He stared at the wall angry that all this was happening. He heard his phone ring, digging his phone out of his pocket he saw who was calling, Tony Stark. Peter sadly exhaled and answered, "Hello."

"Hey kid," he said, pausing,"I saw you at Time square." Peter didn't respond. Tony kept talking. "But next time can you not sit so close to the edge. I get that you're Spiderman but you still make me worried." Peter vaguely smiled, "Seriously," he bit his lip and moved on, "I just don't get why this is all happening."

Tony sighed and said, "I know kid, sometimes not even I have all the answers to everything believe it or not. But it's all happening for a reason, and in the end the truth will overcome the lies. All we have to do is be strong until it reaches that point, and Peter?"

" Yeah Mr. Stark?" he answered. "Sometimes the only way to believe in the unreal is to keep your eye on the impossible. We are going to get through this... as a family not superheroes."

Steve, Natasha, Bucky, Tony and some others were sitting in the control room, sitting around the table silently. Natasha was playing with her hair and Tony and Bucky were playing cards. Steve was nervously walking back and forward with his hand on his jaw.

"I can't just sit here and play games while who knows who is planning who knows what," he said, aggravated. Tony slapped down his hand of cards, a flush, and stood up.

Bucky stared at the cards and cursed under his breath. "Steve be patient. Walking back and forth is literally doing nothing," Tony said, walking over and throwing his empty cup of coffee in the trash. "Well I'm sure you would be a little more worried if it was Morgan in this mess," Steve shot back.

"But if I knew that the only way I could get Morgan back was being patient and doing nothing, I wouldn't do what you're doing right now," He said, setting his jaw. Steve tightened his lips and looked away.

Just then they were interrupted by Nick walking in. "Steve, someone is here that wants to meet with you," Nick said, sounding hesitant. Steve sighed and said, " Nick I really don't feel like meeting people right now. Tell him to come back later."

Nick groaned,"It's actually a girl." Before any of them knew it a tall woman with blond hair strolled in. The only sound that was made was Bucky dropping his hand of cards on the table, mouth wide open. Steve was utterly speechless. Confusion turned into anger, "Sharon?!"
