Peter was still hanging around the Whites House even after dark, trying to stay hidden. He was on top of a building beside the white house called the Oval Offices.
Peter was walking back and forth contemplating on whether or not he should try to find Sarah and talk to her. "Remember that the brainwashed treatment that they used can't be reversed much less by talking," Karen told Peter. Peter sighed and responded, "You're literally not helping at all." He sat down then placed his suited head in his hands.
Just then he saw through his suit that Mr. Stark was calling him. "Answer," Peter said, which voice activated the call to answer. "Hey kid," Tony said through the phone. "Oh hey Mr. Stark," Peter replied. "So how is that school trip coming, I hope I supplied enough money," he said almost like he was talking through clenched teeth.
"Oh yeah no it's ok I guess. You know just another school trip," He nervously laughed.
Tony was starting to grow annoyed. "You know the school was beginning to grow worried so they called your aunt. Well to make a long story short they couldn't reach her, and somehow they got my number and happened to pass of the information that a Mr. Peter Parker has been given an excuse not to come to school due to being sick for the past week," he said plainly, "now will you wish to explain to me how you are on a school trip and you are sick at the same time?"
Peter's eyes grew wide and he cursed under his breath. He was quiet when he noticed something in the corner of his eye. He looked and saw a very skeptical man standing against the wall of the white house. The man progressed to an air conditioning pipe on the side of the wall. Several more men appeared holding machine guns and more smaller revolvers on their belts.
"Peter Parker you answer me right now! For god's sake if you're in D.C because of Sarah I am coming to get you right now!" Tony yelled. "I uh got to go, bye," Peter stutterd. "Pete-," Tony yelled but was cut off by Peter hanging up.
He stared at the questioning men. He knew something had to be wrong. Using a feature in his suit he zoomed in and could hear what the men were saying. "What floor is the dining room on, King?" one man asked another who apparently was named King.
"The second. You should know this already," King replied annoyed. "I was in the bathroom when they said that part," the man added. King looked at him dumbfounded, "How did you even get on this mission?" The other man who was very muscular looked down and shrugged.
Peter jumped down from the building and began to creep up on the men. He accidentally rammed into a trash can which let out a loud metal clang. King held up his hand for the others to stop, and stared at the surrounding areas. Peter ducked behind the trash can. "Nice going spiderman," Karen muttered.
Finding nothing, King motioned his men to climb through the abnormally large vent. Peter let out a breath of relief. "Oh shut up Karen," he snapped.
He was beginning to grow worried. "Was he watching people who are trying to assassinate the president right now? Was he letting it happen?" he thought to himself. Peter remembered the men talking about the dining room.
"PLEA was having a dinner meeting tonight with the president, but why would they pick the night PLEA was there." Millions of thoughts were racing through his head, but all he knew was that he had to get to that room without being seen before the men did.
Sarah was sitting on the edge of her seat during the whole meal. "What are they not telling me?" she thought to herself. She needed to get out of there. "May I be excused. I need to use the ladies room," Sarah asked politely. President Lee smiled from her manners. "Oh yes of course. My guard will escort you," he said.
Sarah nodded and smiled. Standing up she walked over to the doors where the guard met her. Once in the hallway Sarah walked to the doors to the bathroom and shuffled in. The guard waited outside of the door. She advanced towards the window, opening it, she surveyed the night life down below her.
Sarah was about to turn around when something caught her eye. Below her on the White house grounds near the flower beds lining the driveway a man clothed in black was sitting hunched over something. "What the," she uttered quietly to herself, confused.
The unknown man sat up revealing he was working on a small object. Sarah couldn't identify the object from how far away she was. Then quietly the man stopped laboring over the object and pulled his arm up to his mouth and indistinctly said something. "Sarah, are you ok? Did you need some fresh hair?," Ms. Carter asked just walking into the restroom.
Sarah breathed out. "Uh yeah I just needed some air. I'm fine now," she lied. Ms. Carter looked at her supicisiouly. "Are you sure?" Ms.Carter added.
Sarah turned around and smiled. "Yes I'm sure. I should probably go. I don't want to keep the president waiting,"she said. Carter smiled and walked over to the window, looking out she closed the window. Suddenly the ring of gunshots echoed through the rooms. "What was that?!" Sarah yelled.
Then the sound of footsteps were running in through the hallways. Ms.Carter pulled a revolver out from a strap connected to her leg, and Sarah placed her finger on the diamond of the necklace. Transforming into her uniform, she shot knives down into her hand and brought them up into a ready stance. Mrs.Carter and Sarah ran back into the dining room. A loud crash shook the room, Spiderman jumped through the window shooting the men with guns to the wall by a web. A stifled yell was heard from outside the dining hall. Running out into the hallway they saw men clutching President Lee. Spiderman was already sprinting that way.
