You lit the candle with your spark
Yet you still hesitated to face the truth
Are you trying to run away from the spark you made?
Are you scared it will burn you?
The wax will only leave a small reminder of what you caused
We both have doubts but what are the odds of us falling apart just like the candle you gave
As it grew brighter, the memories we shared got burnt down by the flame you built
The fumes carry the bittersweet words you whispered as you left
It's a shame you assumed things would go your way
The moment you extinguished that flame
All ties snapped and broke off everything
The once loving home we built became fragments of what used to be memories
Those embers you held onto will never give out the same spark we had
It's there just to show you how much you have lost
There is no turning back
What's done is done
This is the reality we all have to face.
