Letting go

Letting go was the best decision
Joyous occasions with lovely smiles
At last I'm finally at home
The burdensome weight has been lifted off my shoulders
That held me down to my lowest
Being at the peak of my happiness
Has brought smiles to my life
I have finally arrived at happy land
Those who have brought me pain
Those who broke me
Those who destroyed my happiness
Thank you for teaching such life lessons
Rebuilding myself has taught me a lot
Fixing my heart on my own
Taught me to be independent
All those tragic events taught me not to rely on those who can ruin you
But rely on yourself
This is my journey but it's just beginning.
