8 weeks later

You laid on the cold exam room table as Tommy stood beside you, holding your hand. The two of you had tried to listen to everything the doctor had said about your weight and the growth of the baby, but you both were overly excited to find out what you were going to be having. The doctor walked over and grabbed the small machine and placed some gel on your belly before moving the wand around.

"There's a baby here and a baby over there. The heart beats are strong in both babies." The doctor replied

"Wait a second, twins?" Tommy asked

"yup and by the looks of it, there's a boy and a girl in here. Congratulations mommy and daddy," she replied before wiping your belly off.

"How the hell did this happen?" You asked, looking at Tommy

He shrugged his shoulders before leaning down and kissing your lips. You could feel the tears streaming down his face as he kissed you. Stroking the stubble on his face, and pulled away seeing the doctor smiling at the two of you. She said her goodbyes and left the two of you alone in the room. Quickly you dressed as Tommy spun around in the doctor's chair.

"Any names you like?" You asked

"Aiden James and Abbie Marie Thayer," Tommy said honestly

"Have you been thinking about those for a little? I like them both. I can't believe you gave me two kids at once," you said as you hopped up from the table

Tommy kissed you as he ran his hands down your sides until they landed on you belly.you smiled against his lips and then grabbed his hand leading him out of the doctor's office feeling over the moon about the now two bundles of joy the two of you were now expecting.

"So I've gotta get to band practice since we have the world tour starting. Why don't I take you home and you can call Tara and tell her the news?" Tommy said

"I haven't talked to her since the trip. She's probably still pissed at me," you replied as the two of you walked out of the office.

"Just give it a shot, okay? I love you no matter what happens, but I don't want you losing a friend over this," he replied

"Fine, I'll see you back at home in a few hours," you said as the two of you climbed into separate vehicles

You watched from the parking lot as Tommy left and picked your phone up, typing out the longest message to your best friend hoping she would actually reply this time and let the grudge go.
