-Flashback (a month after Doie was found)-
A month flew by in an instant. Many things have changed or more like Doyoung changed. Doyoung is slowly recovering physically but not mentally. Doctors said that he was traumatised by what happened but they know it's not just that.
Ever since that day, they have not seen him smile even once. They thought it's only towards them but it's the same with Jihoon, even to his own family.
They did everything they can to make up for what they did, but they know that it's not enough.
After the kidnapping incident, Doyoung would only stay in his room, even during meals and would only come out when they have schedules. They do understand him that's why they didn't say anything.
Jihoon's visits to their dorm also became very frequent that almost everyday he's in their dorm. He would stay with Doyoung in his room for hours and would come out with a sad look on his face.
Doyoung looks at them with no emotions. With little to no interaction at all.

"Hyung, are you sure it's fine for Doyoung to still perform? Can't he just take a rest during our concert? He's still recovering!!", Johnny asked their manager who just got out from their meeting regarding Nct 127's world tour and current situation. "I agree with what Johnny hyung just said. Hyung literally just experienced something very scary yet y'all want him to still perform?! That's just so insensitive!!", Mark added raising he's voice, which caught everyone's attention who were there.
(An: Tbh Mk is confusing me😐 didn't he said he wanted Doie to perform w them no matter what in the beginning and now this??😑😑)
"I get what you mean and everyone who were in there agreed with that.....", he stopped halfway and brushed his face with his hands, "but it's Doyoung himself who insisted and personally talked to the CEO about wanting to perform", he added. After hearing that they went to the usual practice room where they always practice and saw Doyoung sitting down, resting. They went closer to him "Doyoung............don't you think you should rest instead of going?", Johnny didn't specifically said what it is about but Doyoung knows what he meant. Doyoung looked up with a blank expression and said, "I didn't want to be SELFISH", emphasising that last word and then he left after, leaving a dumbfounded Johnny and a confused Mark.
Their practice continued with everyone but Doyoung making mistakes. They couldn't take their eyes off of him. They feel like he will disappear again. But this time, not on their watch. Which of course didn't go unnoticed by their dance instructor "Everyone focus!! You're concert is in a week and we have to quickly finalised the new arrangements again. So we really really need to rush this. Let's all take a 30 minutes break and empty up whatever's in your mind ok?", they did what they were told to do, to relax their mind.

After practicing for the whole day, they went to a meeting room. "Everyone listen up! The higher ups have decided and the rest of your tour dates has been scheduled. You guys can take a look at the paper in front of you, it shows there the dates and the countries that y'all will be going. As y'all know, it's been years since your last tour so everyone is looking forward to this. More dates will be added later on as some venues are still not confirm yet due to everyone having tours as well-", Taeyong raised he's hand "Hyung, it says here that we're having a comeback as well?", "Ohh yeah as I was saying, it has also been so long since you guys had a comeback. I know that the schedules are very tight right now with your concerts and solo activities, but the management have already decided for the comeback to be this year as well. It was actually planned to be next year but the demand for the comeback was very high. The management thought about it and thinks that this could also help to promote your tour so it was pushed forward", everyone nodded in agreement. It's not like they can do anything about it.
A knock on the door was heard and a new face came in. "Hello everyone, I'll be your concert manager for this tour, nice to meet you", everyone stood up to greet the said person "We're going to introduce ourselves first.....Hana Dul Set" "To the world yeogin Nct! Annyeonghaseyo Nct Ilichil-imnida!", they bowed which they received the same from the other person. He gestured them to sit down "Ok let's get straight to business. Your concert is coming up in Japan soon. There will be some changes as you're going to perform some of your Japanese songs there, so some songs will be remove from the current set list. Do any of you perhaps have any songs in mind?", he said looking at each one of them. "I suggest First love because czennie is our first love", everyone cringed at Jungwoo's suggestion. "How about Long slow distance?" "No no no it should be Gimme gimme" "What are you talking about! Chain is a must!!" "But don't you think Limitless Jap ver is what fans wants??" " I'm telling you, it's going to be Touch jap ver not Limitless" "I'm the leader so listen to me, Chica Bom Bom is what we need" "Ohh then everyone listen to your maknae, Lipstick is 100% what we absolutely NEED! Don't you think it's sexy~ (AN: sexy in Jaemin's voice😂)", everyone laughed at what Haechan said except for one person. Doyoung just quietly wander his mind somewhere else.
The meeting continued for another 2 hours before it ended. They also had a virtual meeting with Riko-san who is currently in Japan due to personal schedules and couldn't attend the meeting personally in Korea.
"So everyone that's it for today. Get some rest because you will have an early practice and photoshoot tomorrow", their manager said before they left their company. It was already past 10 pm when all of their schedules ended. Everyone got on 2 different cars and headed home. The car ride on both cars were very quiet due to everyone being exhausted as they had a very long day.
