Caring For Her

Aina Hiddleston was everything that Lok sought in a partner. She was intelligent, snarky, ambitious, caring, stubborn, and so many other traits that Loki couldn't help but find attractive. If he wasn't already in love with her the minute she opened her mouth he would fall in love with her all over again. She had long auburn hair that flowed to her shoulders, and eyes as blue as the clearest day in Asgard, her eyes would light up with mischief in a way that Loki couldn't help but love, whenever she used her powers much like how Wanda's eyes became red Aina became even bluer, her smile lit up Loki entire world, her stature was smaller than Loki himself by a good foot, but still, he loved her. Yet in recent days Loki had seen a sudden shift in her personality. She grew quieter and stopped chiming into the usual banter with the rest of the Avengers. Her eyes were burrowing in a way whenever she was thinking particularly hard about something. Upon closer look, her eyes looked red as if she had been crying and Loki could have sworn when he passed her room on late nights he could hear a soft noise coming from her room. While one would usually assume something was wrong on nights Aina would listen to something sad due to boredom or as comfort after a long mission. Yet whenever Loki snuck a look at her face, her eyes were more often red than not, it was this that Loki was starting to become even more worried about her. It was also this very reason that was leading him to what he was doing now something he hardly ever did...

Loki had called a meeting for everyone except for Aina into the meeting room. Something he rarely did due to him rather not dealing with some of the Avengers, but desperate times called for desperate measures. As some of the final avengers went into the meeting room all of them were unsure why they were called in by Loki of all people. Tony stuck to the back liking to observe everything that was going on. While everyone else took seats in random order including Wanda, Vision, Natasha, Thor, Bruce, Bucky, and the other members. Peter was yet to show likely running due to coursework. "What's this about reindeer games?" Tony had his arms crossed against his chest as he didn't like to be pulled out of work. Loki was about to say something before Wanda spoke up.

"Is this about Aina," Wanda asked?

"So you noticed it too," Natasha asked looking at Wanda.

"I thought I was misjudging, so I'm not the only one," Captian asked as soon most of the table was chiming in. As Loki was trying to get the group back under control. Once that didn't work he released some magic from his hands much as he did when he got a crowd to kneel for him only Wanda and Thor didn't fall prey to it.

"Enough." The call brought everyone back to Loki as he released the enchantment. "As most of you have assumed this meeting is about Aina."

"Of course why else would you call a meeting reindeer games?"

"Not now Stark." Loki gave Tony a dagger-like glare as he seemed to debate whether he should "accidentally" throw a danger at him. "Now as I was saying before I was rudely interrupted." Loki paused before once again glaring daggers at Tony. "Something is going on with Aina, the question is what?"

"I must say brother it is unlike you to be so caring for what you say a little Midgard," Thor chimed in.

"You thought so too, I wasn't sure if I should say anything, Mr. Thor. Mr. Loki isn't one to have a vast interest in others," Vision remarked. At that moment Peter burst into the meeting all of his things disorganized, his bag even going so far as slung over his shoulder.

"Sorry I am late, I had school, Mr. Stark," Peter started to say before he looked to see it wasn't Tony standing at the front instead it was Loki. "Oh, Mr. Loki I didn't see you there and," Peter began as he began to nervously speak as Loki patiently waited for him to get through it. Once he was done Peter went to the back with Tony.
