Warning: This might be a little OOC on Loki's part, this is because most of this covers a young Loki in early teenagehood. Through it will get to him a little older and closer to the age in the first Thor movie. But that is much latter into the story so yeah with that through I hope you all enjoy this tale about Loki and his maiden in a tree.

Loki was a young man was getting close to fourteen in Midgardian years yet merely 700 in Asgardian years. One might think at Loki's growing age that he would be spending his time doing important matters. To them things that one might expect Loki to be doing things that prince must do such as continuing both his princely and non-princely education, working on his weapons and fighting training, attending royal court gatherings, or even working on his magic. Or if he wasn't just pressuring his princely duties, they thought he would be something mischivious, as he often was playing pranks. If not then perhaps reading up on a subject matter in the royal libary, often prefering the company of books over people. Or to the few who knew might think he was studying up and devolping his seider, and while all of those assumpations proved to be true at one time another. There was another thing that Loki did, and that was running from someone. This someone being Thor more often then not.

Whenever Loki was running from Thor, every so often he would look behind him before continuing to ensure he wasn't being followed. For if Thor found him, Loki knew he would be dragged off and forced to do whatever activity Thor felt like doing. Despite Thor being considered an adult in Asgard and Midgard, he did take quite a liking into pestering Loki, rather then wondering over and indulging certain desires one might expact of a young prince. Thus a reason why Loki made a recent habit of occasionally stabbing Thor with one of his daggers. Not enough to wound Thor, but enough so Loki would have time to slip away to some hiding place. Through time after time, Thor would eventually find each one of them, whether it be on his own, or someone snitching on him. Which often left Loki in search of a new place to hide for he could only stab Thor in surprise, so many times even the snake was getting less and less of a response. It was because of this very reason where Loki first stumbled upon her his maiden in a tree, through Loki didn't see her at first.

Loki's new hiding place had only been a place he had only visited a couple of times, the first being to find one while Thor was busy, and the other time as Thor was trying to find him. This was the reason he didn't notice her. As once he got there clutching a book in hand, as he allowed his eyes to search around to ensure that Thor nor anyone else loyal to Thor, or another living being was around. Through Loki didn't take to looking above had he done so, he would've seen her sitting amongst the tree branches. This tree in particular was one with great, thick, steady, and long branches filled with bark on the edges, the height of the tree seemed to tower over Loki, causing one to wonder how someone such as her had managed to climb so far up in it. Through Loki didn't see her at least not intially at least not until she said something.

While Loki had never noticed the young maiden before. The young maiden had noticed him, when she had looked down one day to find him. From the looks of it this young boy likely at least a year or two older then her in Midgard years or likely around 50 or 100 years older in Asgardian years. His hair was jet black reminding her of nightime. For Asgard the stars would shine so brightly and twirkle far brighter then on Midgard. It was one of the reasons why the young maiden loved the night, despite her parent's instances that she sleep. Through his hair hadn't been the only thing the young maiden had noticed about him. There was the young boy's eyes, from what she could see they were as green as a blade of grass, yet mixed with the green was a blue that was blue enough to rival an ocean. She was very tempted to starr into those eyes and see what was beyond them, and if she was to be honest to touch his hair. For she had never touched another's hair and honestly the boy's hair looked like it would be soft to the touch. His hair looking like he took great care of it, unlike some of the boy's the young maiden knew. Having seen him around around a couple of times, the young maiden had been tempted to speak to him, yet could never seem to have the conviction to do so. Yet today was different at least so she told herself, as she tried once more to open up her mouth and speak.
