A/N: I once again got inspire by an edit yet instead of following even what was said. I instead just went with the idea and it grew into something of it's own. Something you will see soon. So with that I say farewell and hope you enjoy this as much as I enjoyed writing it.

The first thing that Loki spotted was Liv coming towards him. Upon seeing her Loki couldn't help, but let the smallest smile spread to his lips. As the sight of her dark midnight hair flowing down made Loki's heart squeeze despite her quickening pace, just as it looked like she was going to hit him, he lightly grabbed her wrist and stopped her.

He always did have a soft spot for her. The way her midnight hair would flow down beyond her shoulders, yet how blue her eyes would get as opposed to his green. The way those same eyes would light up whenever she was particular into a discussion. Or maybe Loki was drawn to her because of the way she would dye the tips of her hair to be different colors yet it still look as breath taking. Or maybe it was the way she would lightly banter without taking it too far, something Loki can say he rarely dealt with especially in the Avenger's tower aside from Wanda, Pietro, Peter, and Bucky. Those were the ones who didn't see Loki for his past because either they knew what it was like to be in a similar situation or they were just that kind like Peter was. Through out of all of them Liv would have to be his favorite. While Loki might deny it, there were nights he couldn't help but find himself thinking of the young firecracker Liv. Despite her just inching closer to twenty, a full year younger then Wanda. Yet someone Loki held very much dear even if he would deny it. Thus the reason why the next words would slip out of his mouth. "Now where do you think you are going little dove?" The pet name slipping out before Loki could stop himself.

Rather then tell him Liv had something else to say. "Loki you are just the person I was looking for."

"I beg your pardon?" A brief look of confusion crossed Loki's features. He wasn't used to be needing by anyone aside from his brother, and sometimes Wanda in need of magic control through that was few and far between. To be needed by Liv was a nice thought.

"Loki, I need you to do something for me," Liv started to say, before Loki could say anything she held her finger up almost touching his lips. "And can you at least hear me out before you reject me."

But I was going to say yes Loki thought yet rather then say this instead he said something else. "Who said I would reject you."

"Seriously must you do this right now?"

"Do what right now?"

"Just you."

"Fine, I suppose I can hear you out," Loki said acting as if he wasn't the least bit affected by what she was asking.

"All I need you is to pretend that we're dating."

"Why?"

"Must you ask questions?"

"Yes, I would rather like to know what I am getting into before I agree to anything."

"Considering my ex is coming this way, and I would rather not let him see I am painfully single not after what happened."

"Ah I see. Well I suppose I can humour you especially around the likes of HIM." Loki tried to keep the tone light despite how much his fist was tempting to curl into a fist upon hearing the mention of your ex. What he had wanted to ask was whether you still felt something for HIM. Despite what had happened the two of you had seemed happy before everything. Something Loki feared he could never give you thus why he had never dared to make a move. A fear that was still standing even with this as he had to remind himself of something. It's only pretend remember Loki. Because that is all it will ever be he thought.
