Y/n was led away by one of Ningguang's Assistant and Ningguang stayed to explain something to the trio

"Listen and well please before you attempt anything on that list you need to learn about the relationship between Y/n and the Adepti or well I should address them by more formal name and specify a bit more." Ningguang shook her head

"You should learn the relationship between Lord Y/n and The
Conqueror of Demons or more known as Xiao"

"Woah is that why Xiao knew how to summon Y/n?" Paimon asked flying closer and Ningguang nodded

Childe turned to Traveler "I did hear that one of the Adepti was associated with a Yokai of somesort" Rubbing his ginger hair and shaking his head "didn't think it would be lord Y/n?" Paimon concluded

"Well you won't be able to ask Xiao himself as he probably won't say but go find Cloud Retainer they'll tell the story about their agreement and maybe she'll say why we're doing this"

"But didn't you say that you're doing this whole event to better your alliance with the Adepti?" Ningguang turned to Paimon and clapped her hands

"That's only part of it, The other part is the surprise but that's up to you to figure out"

"Ohh~ WAIT WHAT!?!" Lumie face planted Lady Ningguang rubbed Paimon's head "Well get to it you three the event is in a few days and everything must be perfect" She turned and started to walk away "We have no time to waste" With that Ningguang has left the main trio to do her bidding like everyone else poor Traveler x2

While walking to find Cloud Retainer Paimon came up with an Idea "Hey Traveler?" Lumie looked at Paimon still continuing to walk "What if we asked tone deaf bard about Y/n's past?"

"Right, She means Venti"

"Whose Venti?" The traveling Duo turned behind them completely forgetting the ginger harbinger was with them

"Should we tell him?" Traveler rolled back her shoulders not knowing what to do. Childe was getting impatient and pouted "why can't I know who that is!"

"We're do that ourselves right now we better find Cloud Retainer" Like a scene in a movie Cloud Retainer showed up Randomly and they seemed kinda annoyed.

"You summoned the entity?" Lumie nodded, Cloud Retainer seemed to have sighed "Well One supposes the background between them and us, Adepti one shall with you"

Childe plopped on the ground criss cross applesauce and Lumie followed his example. Paimon looked at the both of them and flew in between the two.

"One shall begin" They lifted one of their wings addressing the sun's rays.

"It was a Dark lit night a century after the Archon war was over entirely. Us Adepti were in a meeting with Morax when he had expressed a concern for a mere child." They closed their wing

"He stated that the child acted a bit strange one disagreed that it was considered normal until another spoke stating that they witnessed the Child do a summoning and was successful. Morax agreed and suggested he wanted to assure the entity into a contract to be rest assured they wouldn't cause an issue in Liyue"

"So it was decided to send the Conqueror of demons to make allies with the entity or at the very least to convince them to discuss the matter. They had spoke and Xiao returned with the being you know as Y/n who seemed rather skeptical. After the discussion it was once again agreed that there was an agreement created as per Morax contract why? One does not know all one can recall is there was a festival held"

"Woah Paimon thinks you were pretty vague during that" Cloud Retainer got offended "WELL THIS OCCURED OVER HUNDREDS OF CENTURIES AGO YOU CANNOT BLAME ONE FOR FORGETTING SOME DETAILS" With that Cloud Retainer flew away

Childe stood up dusting himself off than offered to assist Lumie with getting up and she let him then quickly dusted herself off

"Well anyways I believe we should ask the geo Archon himself about this no?"

"No one asked you rich Ginger!!" Paimon than turned to Lumie "Paimon thinks we should go ask Mr.Zhongli about it" Lumie face planted and Childe crossed his arms "Well we better do this quick if you two wanna go ask VeNtI whatever whoever he is!" He said trailing off and Lumie just followed

After finally finding and convincing Zhongli to tell the trio about Y/n and Xiao. Childe than filled Zhongli on what they knew "Well I must say there is not much I need to say other than I do believe that Xiao does seem more upset whenever Lord Y/n leaves"

"HE TOLD YOU THAT!!?!" Everyone was shocked and spoke in sync "hm? Oh no it was more or less clear because he seemed a lot more calm and more approachable whenever Y/n was near him. He is also the only one who is aware of how to Summon them to begin with" Zhongli put his hand on his chin

"But I have never saw the two communicate with eachother after that ceremony so I have no actual clue about their relationship. I do hope I assisted you but now I must be going" He said walking away and waving

"Bye Mr.Zholing thank you!" Traveler waved as well. Childe seemed confused though. Paimon called him out on it "it's nothing" Lumie had put her hands on her hips "It's clearly something" Paimon nodded

"What If the reason why Lady Ningguang did this Because-" he explained his thoughts

"Ohh Paimon agrees it makes sense" Lumie agreed as by nodding

Lumie took out the note Lady Ningguang have her and ripped it in half "Let's split up We're gonna asked Venti about something while you complete half of the stuff on here" She handed Childe half of the paper and begin to walk away "Alright well let's meet back up at the golden house k?"

"Okay bye rich Ginger!" Childe just laugh and got to work. Lumie and Paimon traveled to Mondstadt to find and Locate The tone deaf bard known as Venti

Meanwhile Childe looked for decorations for the festival.
