The Flash and Fire

Void walked off the airship and cracked his neck startling some yes the walked past him "stiff huh?" A voice said causing Void to turn and face the person.

Next to him stood a cream haired boy with bright green horns wearing an oddly similar outfit to Void

"Heya I'm Naoki Yasuki nice to meet ya" he said giving Void a warm smile one that Void wouldn't return instead he stared into his eyes before answering "Void" as he began to walk towards beacon "whattt no last name?" Naoki asked placing his arms behind his head whilst following Void.

"My last name is meaningless and unimportant..." he sharply responded, Naoki sighed before nodding "not a people person? Got it" he replied. "H-hey! You're Void right!" Someone yelled as they approached grabbing the attention of the duo.

When Void looked back he realised it was Yang, "yeah I am" Void said staring directly into her eyes "I need to know did you say something to professor Ozpin to get Ruby in?" Yang asked.

Void stared at her eyes as if searching for something when he was satisfied he shook his head and crossed his arms "nope she impressed Oz all by herself" he said  giving Yang a smirk.

"Dude no offence but I feel like I'm in danger when you smile" Naoki butted in which caused Yang to chuckle "everyone in a 8 mile radius of me is always in danger... Now let's go we don't want to be late"

Ruby and Jaune entered Beacon Academy's giant auditorium, that was filled to the brim with people. Ruby scanned the room over till she heard Yang's voice.

"Rubyyy We saved you a spot!" Yang yelled waving Ruby down. Ruby said goodbye to Jaune and rushed over to greet her sister Noaki and Void.

Whilst the siblings chatted Naoki poked Void's arm "dude, look that Cutie is talking to Lady Izanami!"
Void blankly looked at Naoki and replied "who?"

Naoki grabbed Void's head and made him look over at the two girl "them! And how do you not know about Lady Izanami she's literally the heiress of the Koda clan and a prodigy of their storm arts!"

Void pulled himself free and sighed "so she's nothing special? All I'm hearing are opinions and she's a princess to a unimportant clan... non of that matters in the heat of battle...Everyone just becomes a number another casualty of war."

Everyones attention was drawn to the stage, where Professor Ozpin is readying the microphone, with Glynda by his side.

"I'll... keep this brief. You have traveled here today in search of knowledge, to hone your craft and acquire new skills, and when you have finished, you plan to dedicate your life to the protection of the people. But I look amongst you, and all I see is wasted energy, in need of purpose, direction. You assume knowledge will free you of this, but your time at this school will prove that knowledge can only carry you so far. It is up to you to take the first step" he said stepping away.

as Ozpin leaves, Glynda stepped up to talk "You will gather in the ballroom tonight; tomorrow, your initiation begins. Be ready. You are dismissed." And with that she stormed out of the room

As night fell and everyone either in sleeping bags or quietly talk Void had managed to slip outside and sit under the silver light of the moon.

He compared the calming sense of peace he had to the constant pressure of his missions he undertook while under Raven's wing and let out a sigh.

"The calm before the storm may serve as a warning..." he said but was cut off by the sound of a branch snapping "...for the toughest part of the warrior's journey" Void stood up as he reached for his blade and faced the purple haired female "relax... I'm just here to talk" she said walking into the moonlight right infront of him to reveal herself as non other than Izanami Koda.

"Geralt Goldheart? Rare to meet someone familiar with his work" she smirked at him. Void however glared into her eyes "what do you want?" He questioned.

"I heard you don't like me...but truth is I don't like you either Void Branwen" she said glaring intently at him and clenching her fist.

Void crossed his arms and stood firm "what have I ever done to you?" He said this caused her to scowl at him "What did my mother do to you?!" She said grabbing the collar of his shirt and pulling him closer.

Void stared at her completely unfazed "if you value the use of your hands I'd let go...as for your mother you're better off in the dark about Why I did it" he said shoving her out of his way as he headed back "oh and..."

He glared over his shoulder flames burning from his eyes "tell anyone about this...and I'll slaughter everyone I see..." and with that he left.

"Asshole..." she mutter following him. Ozpin stood on a balcony overlooking the scene and smiled sipping his coffee.

"Now this is going to be very interesting..."
