"WHATTTT!?" Noaki yelled in disbelief at what Void was as the rest of team VAIN looked at their captain with concern "Void are you serious about staying for the whole week?" Izanami asked placing her hand on his shoulder ", especially with those people after you..."

Void smiled at his team and struck a strong pose "You needn't worry about your captain I can't return to the tribe that was the deal made by my mother in exchange for me coming here... and besides that, I have a place to go for a while anyway..."

"Why don't you just stay with Izanami like how I am with Akira" Noaki questioned "because what would her father think if she returned with the likes of me by her side not to mention she's a princess I'm an assassin our lifestyles would clash like blades"

There were other reasons like how Void couldn't face the husband of one of his victims and not come forward to it. Izanami stared at him and sighed "I told you I was completely fine with it and my father said he wouldn't mind accommodating you...and that offer stays open even if you change that stubborn mind of yours...just give me a heads up okay?" Izanami said.

"Woah is Void getting princess treatment?" Akira asked "more like prince treatment" Noaki added earning a glare from Void before Void turned to Izanami "I'll keep it in mind who knows I might be so lonely I'll need the storm princess to keep me company" Void joked

"Now don't you think it's about time y'all get going? Quit worrying about your captain and have fun cherish the time with loved ones" Void said ushering them to go after some convincing they left with one last group hug.

"Alone..." Void nodded and set off for his own little excursion

The wind was heavy as Void quietly walked through the ghost town that was his village centuries worth of history lost to the wider world, the once great symphony of joy and laughter replaced with an eerie silence only bearable by those native to the land of red-stained Grimm.

It was when he passed his home he began to occupy the silent space with a whistle the hunting whistle taught to next in line to be the village head.

It wasn't long before he reached his destination the village grave site. Due to the anatomy of shades, with them possessing multiple hearts 3 at maximum and their naturally extended lifespan the village did not need a graveyard. Meaning Void had to bury them all. Himself. Alone.
