Does The Past Ever Die?

Twisting.
Turning.
Ripping and tearing.
Flesh melding together.
What you once were.

The father placed his hand on the tank containing the black thick liquid and smiled as a smaller pale hand reached back to him. "Heh...liquid Grimm...amazing stuff it can do when you actually know how to use it" he said looking to the tank next to him as Giano's body floated, the hole in his chest from Void's attack completely healed.

"I'll let you out soon... His first turning point is fast approaching, the first hard choice of many" he said slowly walking out of the dimly lit room and whistling calmly.

"What will you do when those choices are presented to you? Little dragon?"

Void sat up quickly panting before covering his left eye and wiping the cold sweat from his face "fuck another nightmare...why...why was it from his perspective..." He turned to see the clock in their dorm read 2:43 AM "I need a drink" he said throwing on grey sweatpants and a red robe with plush horns and wings on it a gift sent to him by Raven for finishing his list along with a new mask...

As Void entered the dormitory kitchen he saw her. "We've got to stop running into each other here..." he joked earning a chuckle out of Izanami "But then we'll run into each other in other places...couldn't sleep?"

"Nightmare, what about you?" he replied as he started to make himself a mug of hot cocoa "Eh same I guess..." she said watching him while sipping her tea her eyes were drawn to his hands how many people felt the strength of those hands? How many felt the wrath of those hands How many felt the... tenderness of those hands? She thought

"Jeez, do you have a thing for hands?" He teases holding his free hand to her "N-no! It's just my parents say someone's hands can tell a story..." She said setting her drink down and holding his hand tracing his scars.

"I know some of your story but not all..." she added "Well my whole body tells my story...from the mark on my nape to the scars all over is my story," he said turning to he reaching up to get something from the cupboard behind her.

He froze when he felt her hand on his bare chest tracing a scar "Would you tell your stories?" She asked slightly blushing as her amber eyes met his violet eyes.

"We'd be up all night if I did that..."
"I don't think either of us wants to sleep anymore"

The two stayed silent for a moment before Void smirked "Are you hitting on me?" He said causing her to blush heavily "N-NO! I'm just teasing you! You tease me all the time so it's only fair I get payback like that time in the libra-" she rambled only stopping when he covered her mouth "You can tease me...but don't blame me if I act on it.."

He said leaning down and kissing his hand as it covered her mouth before pulling back and letting go.
"I...I..." she stuttered "Want to hear my stories? Fine grab a seat I'll tell you everything you want to know" he said grabbing a bag of marshmallows and putting some in his mug.

And so he told her everything from his first mission with Raven to his last from his dark times in the tribe to the brightest.

"Can I ask a touchy question?" Nami asked looking at him "Ask away goofy" She took a deep breath "What was Angel like?" Void's eyes widened before smirking. "A lot like Ruby and Noaki... a total goofball but when it came to hard choices she was better than me..but she didn't deserve to be in the tribe, she was better than all of us. She saw the good in people no matter who they were...heh, I remember we had to hunt a guy who double-crossed Raven and when we found him she managed to get him to explain his actions and even convinced Raven to give him a second chance. Buddy still works under the tribe and dedicates his work to her..." he slowly sipped his drink before smiling at her
